Hi Support Team,
with my mage character season 5 I have learned 15/16 Aspect of the Splintering Energy. I have found already twice another unique item with the same aspect, however is does not indicate at the blacksmith that I will learn the last missing piece. And when salvaging it it does not get to 16/16. So I am stuck with 15/16. I have left one of them in my inventory for your reference. Can you please check if this is game bug, or some data in my account is in a wrong state.
To learn higher level the aspect on the item must be higher level, so to max it out the aspect on the item must be at max level, were they?
Hi Ark, I didn’t know that the level has also to be higher, I thought any aspect would do. Makes sense! Thank you for the clarification.

I have the same issue with my sorcerer character. Just found another item with this aspect, did not see the indication but thought that might be because the item had a star. The item was level 925, but it did not unlock the final aspect after salvaging it.
Again, you need the aspect on the item to be higher level than what you currently have already unlocked. To max it you need to find an item with the aspect at max level, aspects usually have 16 different power levels and they are randomized on items (Doesn’t matter if item is 925 power or with great affixes, aspect can still be a rubbish roll) only mythic uniques always have their aspects at max level
The value in blue is what defines you aspect’s level, numbers not in blue are fixed
Ah, allright, guess i’ve just had really bad luck than. In total i must have checked tens of thousands of items and no aspect of splintering energy with the highest level. Thanks for clearing this up.
