I just upgraded my grandfather to masterwork 8 and i did not get the 25% stat increase.

All new Unique items are worst than older ones. I throw away GF because it is useless. You can graft two handed weapons much better than it is. They destroy Ubers and that is a good fact (donāt need to run Uber bosses hundred times). Grafting is well but masterwork need to get better.
Pits bosses need a nerf, they canāt kill you with one hit. Now you must have a very strong build to collect materials to masterwork. Most of players canāt beat them, so they donāt get materials.

Same here. I recently crafted a Grandfather and upgraded it to masterworking level 9/12. According to the process, there should have been two significant buffs to the stats. After each major upgrade, I expected to see the new stat values displayed on the screen. However, the area where the stats should appear was blank, and my item did not receive any upgrades.

Ok so its not just me. I upgraded and gotā¦ nothing. Hopefully they fix this soon and fix the ones already past lvl 8. To be honest, Iām kinda disappointed anyway in it. Sup par compared to the masterwork gear out there.

My assumption is that Grandfather has a 4th stat āIgnores durability lossā but the UI is bugged and it is not visible. Your masterwork went on that but you donāt see it.

The most useless possible stat to add to an āuberā anyway. Who comes up with the design of this stuff. Itās mean to be the pinnacle 2H sword and itās trash.

just had the same issue at master working 8. GF didnt give anything, blank were it normally shows what is upgraded. i had something similiar like this on a different unique, i think its the stat al the way down that is locked to 100% crit, that doesnt change, so it rolls on 100% crit and the result is nothing.
thank you blizz for this nice bug. like ubers were already trash vs good rolled new legendaries, now on top of that we get zero rolls!

Same just happened to me. Donāt see anyone confirming that is a bug or not in this chat.

Same here i masterworked Grandfather to level 8 twice and it said increased one affix by 25% on level 8 both times but did not show me any affix. The only possible reason is that it is a bug because if ignore durability loss was still an affix on GF it wouldnt make you repair your armor and weapons. So it is not a hidden affix rather just the weapon itself bugged
@Blizzard please fix this ASAP

They donāt fix it. I just destroy tree useless ubers and make TM, it is a new useful armor. Others are worst than old ubers.

My GF didnt get lvl 8 25% upgrade either. It sux ā¦the effort of getting it and then the mats and then it just bugs out. Blizzard dont something.

Grandfather has a āāIgnores Durability Lossāā stat.
Iām guessing they decided to āāremoveāā it since it would bring no benefit if masterworked. But somewhere along the way they didnāt remove it completely and hence the whole issue.
Looks like they decided once again to make game playable with Expansion sale.
My masterworking showed me a middle finger too on 4th upgrade.
I rarely use these forums, I will now knowing age of this post 
, as wasting time, gold and mats last night had me fuming.
4/5 attempts with The Grandfather Masterworking that keeps failing on 4th &/or 8th Bonus Crits etc.
As others state, reset and try again, but I then screen recorded further upgrade attempts, and certain levels did not even get the normal % Stats/Affix upgrades, let alone any Bonus Crits, e.g levels 5 to 6 EXACT same, so not 1 increase.
Another coding bug that costs plyers hard earned time, mats and gold.

I hit the same bug on Grandfather. Twice on 4 and once on 8. VERY annoying! Hope they fix this.
