Cant launch, frozen, dont responde, close can play the game

Same here. Gets frozen when launching or when queuing to log in. Can’t play.
I have the same issue, freezing when game is trying to connect to the server… I will try to scan and repair but not hopeful.
Successfully updated. But I can’t enter the game. It won’t let me in…I reinstalled, scan and fix, but it didn’t improve. What should I do? Thanks for the answer!
Same. Can’t start the game. Freezes. Tried scan & Repair, Reinstall. Nothing worked… and i JUST PAID FOR Premium battlepass… how nice!!!
Yea i just tryed reinstall it to and still freeze at login.
Had same problem, decided to look at files from previous version - had them on SSD from one of early bugs with login.
After patch there was missing _FenrisDebug-5 file, copied it to game directory and wuala - it works.
Maybe this helps…someone.
Same problem here. Screen is frozen during the login.
Managed to fix on my end, based on D4 error logs (Fenrisdebug.txt in game folder) - “[streamline][error]dlss_gentry.cpp:522[updateEmbeddedJSON] Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling in Windows OS needs to be enabled - please see devblogs . microsoft . com / directx / hardware-accelerated-gpu-scheduling /”
It was working fine before 1.3.1, this didn’t seem to be a requirement, no system changes between the patches.
Also, try to cleanup Bnet cache files (easy to find steps).
All works just fine after enabling Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling in Windows Settings.

My game has begun freezing as well. Started when trying to teleport from a dungeon to a waypoint and now I cannot login. Just stuck on login screen.
Update: Deleting C:\Users\x\Documents\Diablo IV\LocalPrefs.txt seems to have fixed the problem

I dont still can’t start the game!
I have this “Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling” already enabled (probably by default) and deleteting LocalPrefs.txt does not change anything.
I’m 99.9% sure that blizz f*** up something, because i did not change anything on my system for about 2 weeks.
Same here, tried multiple of other people’s ways of fixing it but didn’t work. Done full re-install, deleting the file in documents, changing setting via Gefore etc etc. Nothing is working.
Best I could get it was to be spam clicking to get past the first splash screen, but then it just freezes on the connection screen instead.
This is really getting annoying… we OBVIOUSLY got some problems but don’t hear SH*T from the devs… NOT EVEN ON X OR FB… wtf!!!

Rename dstorage.dll to say dstorageold.dll in the d4 folder. maybe…
It is not happening to me… I run windows 10 pro, could it be possible that some windows update or even GPU drivers may cause this? I have no clue, but im not having those issues. Only the usual in-game irresposiveness and lag.
