Bug report permanently stuck transmog

One of my characters has a bugged helmet transmog that cannot be changed. It works like this:

  1. I change the transmog of the helmet in my wardrobe and it displays properly.
  2. I change locations in game (loading screen)
  3. After the loading screen the transmog reverts back to the stuck one

Other info:

  1. I do not even have that bugged transmog unlocked, so I cant even tell you what its called.
  2. When looking at my character in the character select, it has two skins overlapping at the same time on its helmet.
  3. Taking the helmet off does not remove the bugged transmog.

I am having the same problem. Playing a sorc. I’ve taken my helmet off, closed the game completely, and logged back in, to no avail. Even on logging back in with no helmet on, it still forces the helmet graphic. I also do not have this transmog unlocked. Quite an obnoxious bug.

Tried to include a screenshot here but I have no idea how to attach a picture.

I’m having this issue too. It’s super annoying and I don’t like the transmog. It applies to a helmet. No matter what I do it comes back and as you mention duplicates if I have another transmog active.

EDIT: I’m also having an issue with the ensebles, I can’t seem to save into the empty slots.
I’ve also observed this might be related to the new axial conduits pants transmog. If I get rid of that, then the persistent transmog seems to go away, but I still can’t use the ensemble save.

Same here, switches back to the same helmet whenever i load a new area and its not even a helmet i have equipped in transmog or without transmog, and of course its super ugly

Same thing. Two characters now with this ugly helmet with a veil.

The problem is the axial conduit pants transmog. If you change the pants transmog it will go away. Me and many of my friends had the same issue. I hope this helps.

Me too. i have the godslayer crown on and a random helmet I don’t know is on too.

Same here, I have axial conduit pants on, and if I select them to appear unequipped or select the default look on them, I have the helmet problem. Problem. If I transmog them to look like something else, I do not have the helmet problem.

Can confirm it’s something to do with the Axial Conduit pants transmog. For some reason if you have that transmog on, your helm transmog is always stuck as the sun with a veil transmog. No clue why but it’s pretty annoying. The Axial Conduit pants are like the only ones that actually look good.
