Is there a build calculator that is mobile friendly? I ask this as I’m struggling with using my iPad on build calculators as if you press a button to see what the skill is, it puts a point in the ability which then can’t be removed unless you reset the entire board! So any miss press would also require a complete reset of the talent points. This isn’t great when you don’t know what all of the icons and abilities are!!
Anything out there that is a bit more user friendly would be a great asset imho!
Thanks for any advice received.

It sounds like the issue you are experiencing is likely due to the fact that “build calculator scripts” are running in and built for web based applications, HTML, PHP, Javascript where you typically click something once to select it, I’ve never really come across anything on a website where I hold a click for more options and I imagine for that functionality as back in the day java and flash would probably be the best options, however they have been obsolete for a very long time over security flaws.
Maybe someone will create a mobile APP where this would probably be easier to implement and it would function the same way a mobile game would, but the demand would need to be there as this could be a costly endeavour with multiple moving parts to get verified and listed on apps unless you download from untrusted sources (not recommended).
Might also be worthwhile to find out if someone has created a Excel or Google Sheets equivalent of a build calculator that they have made publicly available, this would allow for drop down menus and macros to fix the issue(s) you have have described, again alot of work to maintain so it’s going to be a niche find. You could even create your own if you have the skills and knowledge in moderate spreadsheet development and scripting.

Having a “+” and “-“ for the skill points and the main box for description would alleviate this I feel. What are your thoughts?
Also, being able to do this on a mobile device would allow people to plan away from the game I.e. sat downstairs eating breakfast, chatting with friends of just copying what they see on a video (so they can follow it better, as YouTubers tend to waft their curser all over the place and don’t let people absorb the information very well imho).
If you get a usb otg adapter for your phone you can get a mouse cursor to appear and use the websites in desktop mode. They then work.
Other than that I imagine an app will be made soon.

It does sound like a viable solution in practice, it comes down to the knowledge and practices of the person(s) creating the site. If they have coded using the same methods and database structures for the last 20 years and have not had much in the way of complaints, they may not feel the need to change what they know to work.
Also adding the changes you advised would at minimum require re-evaluating the design layout to make room for the boxes attached to each skill. the way the information is added to the backend database and the way the actual calculator retrieves the information, with some dedication and time I’m sure a site can be retrofit to do this with some bugs to squash later, however personally if I was tasked with this I’d probably resort to recreating the whole thing from scratch.
PS. This is why I buy Windows / Surface tablets, run into these kind of problems far less often lol
