Can Blighted Corpse Explosion + Howl from Below proc Lucky Hit?

I want to use Blighted Corpse Explosion with Howl from Below but I fear that, due to using Blighted Corpse Explosion, it won’t hit anymore, and therefore not lucky hit either. However, theoretically Howl from Below makes corpses explode, which is a hit(?)

Can anyone confirm how this interaction works?

Blighted corpse can proc lucky hit, it is just spread over its duration, I think it ticks for 6 seconds, 2 times per second - so 12 ticks, which means each tick has lucky hit chance modifier of corpse explosion / number of ticks.
