Often as a necromancer, I may get frozen, but minions take care of stuff anyway. During helltide I look up the new chest to get to, but if I’m frozen just before pulling up the map, I cannot move on the map. So apparently freezing is implemented by ignoring the (L) stick on PS5 instead of setting movement speed to 0.
Once the frozen state expires, I can start moving on the map.
