There was a problem toggling party voice chat (Code 400006)
Can’t join any voice channel ingame. Getting this error over and over.
Every other game works fine with voice, so does discord and whatnot, only here im having issues. Google search found nothing - any hints?
Generally, Voice Chat issues come down to it being disabled in an account’s Parental Controls, so be sure to review those if they are set up on your account.
A number of other possible causes are listed on our Support site, but if you do continue to have issues, please open a ticket so that it can be properly looked into.

parental controls aren’t blocking it - the blizzard voice chat works if I use it in battle net client. Its the D4 ingame voice chat that won’t work.
Edit: Tried it again and it works - the difference is that when a friend that was on ps5 was in party it wasn’t working for some reason.

I play with only PC players in my party and I ran into this last night. It’s a buggy download in general. I’ve played all day, waited for the game to update when I got off at night before I shut things down, and the next morning it told me I had the wrong version of the game and I had to manually uninstall it, twice now. I opened a ticket on this issue and the response had nothing to do with the files I sent, while asking for more information. You will get zero help from blizzard these days. They know they released a buggy download and arent going to give solutions, just gonna beat around the bush and wait for us all to stop complaining or playing it.
I had the same issue.
The problem for me was that I had turned off “Voice Chat” in battle.net (web browser) account settings, under Privacy & Communication.
After I changed it to “Listening & Speaking” it worked immediately.
