Hey,
After clicking the ‘Play’ button in battle.net I get a gray screen and after several seconds the following message.
The application encountered an unexpected error.
I already did a scan and repair, but nothing was found to repair.
I reinstalled the game, I’ve deleted the battle.net and blizzard entertainment folder under ProgramData. But nothing seems to work.
Someone has an idea?

Shame problem here 
I was finally able to access Diablo 4 after installing the latest updates for my Windows 11. Here is the list:

It only worked once. After restarting the game, I started experiencing freezes again, either on a grey screen or the loading screen.
I have not been able to start the Sever Slam at all today for the same reasons off and on since 4 CDT.
I am still stucked in splash screen/grey screen since launched. Any solution?
Hi, hung on the introductory screen, went to this topic to find out what the reasons are. As I added “-aftermath” to the arguments, it stopped hanging, which is very strange, but it works for me now.
I’ve already added the -aftermath to the arguments. It just gives extra logging but no solution.
The additional text doesn’t work for me.
It doesn’t work before and after I updated to all latest GPU driver and Windows 11 patch.
It doesn’t work even i had re download and reinstall the game.

Подтверждаю такаяже проблема. Близард удивляют своей расторопностью, якобы предлагают “бесплатно поиграть 3 дня” но при этом игра зависает на 1х секундах открытия на логотипе Diablo. Характеристики ПК:
intel core i3-8100
ОЗУ 16Gb ddr4 3200
Nvidia GeForce GTX1070 8Gb
Ich habe auch so ein Problem, nach dem Start schließt sich das Spiel und geht das Fenster mit Fenris problem auf.
У кого игра зависает при запуске. В диспетчере задач кликните правой кнопкой мышки по процессу “Diablo 4 Retail”, выберите “свойства” , на закладке “совместимость” поставьте галочку “Запускать программу от имени администратора”. Всё, добро пожаловать в игру.
I downloaded the latest Windows Optional Framework update, problem solved for me.
Same here, except I dont even get a gray screen. The launcher just says “Playing Now” and thats it

Those of you with a Razer (Synapse) mouse and/or keyboard:
We’ve found that Razer Chroma & Synapse features have been conflicting with our games. We’re going to want to try updating Synapse 3 to install the most recent version of Chroma SDK, and then remove all Razer software if the game continues to have problems

(those of you on D3 will recall that D3 also has conflicts with Razer mouses (mice ?) and keyboards. D3 has a Prefs file where we can set DisableChromaEffects to true… I don’t know if D4 has a similar file).

Unpluigged my controller (Razer Wolverine V2) and did a shut down of PC, not a restart
Rly its a joke. Didnt have any problem during previous beta. No I didnt even logged into a game. Tried almost everything but game is not starting… Freezes at grey screen or sometimes is shows me “Diablo” screen and then stops working.
Yep, this is a joke, this beta was a big decision for me to buy this game or not, and right now I see a lot of problems with this beta, so I will wait some time till release. Btw, I have the same problem with this beta and I tried I think everything, but it still not working.
