Diablo was nice because you can play anything solo and now were going the wrong way with all World bosses now and Citadel coming in the expansion

Way not let there be something for everyone.
Most of the game can be soloed, with there are a few things people in groups can enjoy that is made for that.
And be ready for the ultra buff of experience and drop in group due to “solo players have now mercenaries”.
I’m hating what I’m seeing about the new expansion set… Playing D4 in groups is not funny at all. It’s about following a DPS which is able to kill everything super fastly and doing nothing else than grabbing drop.
with a group the content is far easier then solo and at the start there is also the xp buff you get in groups
and making a dungeon/event that only be done in groups is in my opinion not in the diablo spirit
We know nothing about how the xp/difficulty will be.
But I’m all in for that there are something for everyone.
if you play in a group now you get a xp buff dont see a reason why they going to remove that

SOLO please! i don’t wanna work all day, come home and get told to “get goood” and get kicked from groups, just let me play solo.
I currently hate farming mythic’s… it’s so much better in a group (more mats more chances) I can kill all uber bosses solo… buff the mythic drop rate if you kill the boss solo!!!

they forgoth to add “mmo” to the game gen. if i just knew i could play “solo” and no matter where the f*** i go i always end up getting boosted. i just want to lvl alone and farm alone not only alone in dungeons. go away with this mmo kind of goo. i also hate the forced to play with others to do end game content in the upcoming dlc. ffs whyyyyy… D3 had a great social system if you wanted to play alone you had the option but in D4 is just mmo world of warcraft kind of game now. i wish for a propper solo option in the future but lets be real never ever gonna happen. solo play is long gone apprently.
Nobody care if you can play multi unless you make it multi only.
You can do everything multi, you should be able to do everything solo. That’s called fairness. Otherwise you force solo players to fund parts that they will not be able to enjoy. Diablo was never a multi focused game and should stay like that.

You are right, after a long day at work when you want to enjoy the game, you will be kicked out of groups just because you don’t have the best gear - this gives me World of Warcraft vibes - lol. If they won’t make the game SOLO than the expansion will start with the wrong foot and everything will be downhill from there. To be honest, the game should be casual friendly because most of us have a full time job, a family, etc. and enjoying the game should be equal for everybody. Of course, those who are live streamers and don’t have a real job or anything better to do, just go for it - but it is not right to change the game for a small group of people - this exact fact made The Pit bosses overpowered, because streamers with best gear in the game posted about how easy The Pit is - and Blizzard response is the one we have now, a lot of complaints and no real solution for casuals.
The problem is not in the raid, but in loot, which I am sure will only dropeth there.

Totally agree, I only play with people i know, but i don’t work at regular hours, i work mornings, evenings and nights, witch means i play 98% Solo, And Blizzard making Citadel coop only is a shitty move imo, Diablo has always been solo friendly, I didn’t buy this game to play coop.
most of the multiplayer features don’t event make sense so yeah i agree with you.
World bosses are a 1 sec mob kill on a long timer, “Guilds” are a second friendlist with a worst UI. The open world is fun to discover but is useless unless there is helltides.

lets make a multi player dungeon WHY blizzard ???
One year ago the said that you should be able to do all the content solo in Diablo 4. And now the are adding content that you can’t do solo.
Diablo has always been a soloplayer game with the option to play with some friends. That is what makes Diablo great. You can choose. you’re not forced to play solo or in a group.
And now the are killing the fun for alot of players.
Apparently 15% of ppl grouping up , is enough for Blizzard/Microsoft to go.
UHHHH we must make something for them, and young people don’t wanna play solo.

It just doesn’t make sense. Why add a group-only content to a franchise that’s been singleplayer with optional multiplayer since inception? Why make it inaccessible solo while giving it exclusive rewards? There is not a single valid reason for that because this is an ARPG, not an MMO.
Group players can still run it in groups. The fact that players who want to run it solo are able to do so doesn’t affect them AT ALL.
I loved D4 since release, less so with each change that made it more like D3 though it was still enjoyable but this is the final nail in the coffin for me.
