Not sure but might be your connection? You connected the console wireless? Try wired
been playing with a console(Xbone) friend just fine throughout today
I think the problem exists either with the game running on Microsoft software, or it’s the game doing something odd, the famous black screen on teleporting was commonly attributed to using a wireless controller, but it still persisted on wired controller, so I don’t think anyone really knows beyond, it’s probably Microsoft and or Windows.
loads of people have been complaining about game crashes and when I played on Windows 10/11 I got them too, but since switching to Linux, I’ve had none, literally not even one,
Getting thrown off (lost connection) every 2-5 minutes currently. Denmark, PC, Battle.net launcher.

The game has been out for over 3 years. They’re NEVER gonna fix any of the crashes or lags.
Because they’re not developers. They’re activists, so they can’t fix problems.
So apparently the best way to fix it (in my case it seems to have worked) is to power cycle the x box, take out power cord and unplug from power source for 30 seconds, I gave it 5 minutes then…
What I didn’t want to do but had to anyway which was a complete uninstall and full reinstall of Diablo and Vessel of Hatred.
Luckily the game unstalls even when switched off so I just watched some YouTube and left it to reinstall
When I got back in the only thing I changed was the in screen reader and after some testing of filling the screen with as much as I could, the Warlock screaming skull and infernal breath skills work best for this, the game as of at least ten hours of play has not crashed once.
However.
Recently. I have noticed all one handed legendary and better swords have been slapped with red crosses and marked as “temporarily disabled” on all classes, am I the only one getting this?
For context I play on Xbox Series X
