My game has been completely unplayable since the patch, with massive lag and rubberbanding due to enormous ping spikes. Issue is isolated to Diablo 4, no other games, including all other Blizzard games have any issues and run smooth as butter on my i9-12900KF, RTX 4080, 64 GB ram rig. Every now and then I can play for a couple of instances until I’m disconnected and the problem is back.
These last couple of days, the game has basically been completely unplayable.
Playing with direct ethernet 1000/1000 rock solid chad connection with no other users testing at full strength, no pocketloss.
Issue persist regardless of connection settings like crossplay or crossplay communications.
The problem is very obviously not on my side.

I have the exact same issue as Fin. The game is borderline unplayable as its constant ping or lag spikes all the time during game play. It happens at all hours of the day or night. The game also freeze a lot when trying to log on to the game. I also experience a lot of hard crashes to desktop. It is also only Diablo 4 where this happens to me. S7 seems to have broken the game for me to the point it´s unplayable 50% the time when playing.
Where are you located? I have talked to others with issues, and they are from Denmark, and at least 2 of us are using Telenor.

There’s speculation on reddit that there’s major routing issues at the Northern European data center.

What a useless comment. No one is moaning. We are actually trying to detect a common demoninator. If we weren’t posting here and sharing each other’s location and ISP info then we wouldn’t even have arrived at the conclusion that Telenor might be the culprit. Go away.

same here. worst is ofc the black screen (but UI loading) after teleport like 8x every hour.
also lag. stuttering. introduced with start of season. last season everything was fine. thousands have t his. and they cant fix it. sell microsoft stock. that company is overvalued here.
Same here. Since Season 7. There were times it was barley manageable. Now its unplayable and resembles a latency meme. rtx3050 laptop i711800h 16gbRAM. Tried changing every combination of quality settings to no avail.

and its not my hardware. its not my ISP. its 100% on blizzards side.
what is microsoft doing here ? fire this ppl there. we have bugs which go on for all seasons now. and worst is the black screen bug.
