After this patch i keep crashing to desktop without any error popups. Most of the time i can log into my character and run around town for a bit. However as soon as i open my inventory or map, then game crashes.

Having the same issue, only after this last patch
Same here. But i’ve got this issue since release day one. But after this last patch D4 became unplayable for me. 
game crashes so hard even my PC ends up freezing or blue screening after the recent patches
I can’t even login….
I installed D4 on my laptop and it runs it fine. I’m gonna try reinstalling the game on my desktop even though file integrity check says everything is ok.
edit: Nope, reinstalling did not help.
Ive had 7 crashes in 1 day and a bit . Seems to happen when im sorting some stats then leave my inventory. Game just freezes, zero sound then straight to dashboard. This is on xbox and only since the last patch
Having the same issue. It’s completely unplayable for me since Friday. After choosing a character, the game crashes directly to the desktop without any error.
After some help from support i figured out the reason for all my constant crashes after the latest patch.
The reason was because i had Asus AI suite installed. I uninstalled that POS software and is now able to run diablo 4 without any crashes.
To those still crashing when opening the map : try to delete your local config file in Users\username\Documents\Diablo IV
It’s called LocalPrefs and it was, for me, what caused it. Might have been F’d up or something … nothing worked, couldn’t play, I deleted it, went back into the game, had to redo the settings and VOILA, no more map crash.
