Since the small patch i was able to play a few times, no problems. But now, during the one weekly session i got with a buddy it crashed (it had only done that once before) and then it started crashing seconds after i loaded in again up to a point where i load character and it either crashes instantly or as soon as i do anything ingame (open inventory/menu/invite a friend). Nothing changed driver wise, os wise, av wise, only change was the patch. Other games run fine, nothing out of the ordinary on hardware monitor and event viewer tells me engine crashes went down. 12 out of 12 attempts. It worked for a minute or two after i disabled FSR performance mode but then went to crashing again. Non playable, pls fix/rollback soon because i feel like a dunce for pre purchasing vessel of hatred. Deleted config files just to see what would happen, got ingame after rebuild and same issues. Event viewer shows engine crashes.
having same issue , no error code just crash to desktop
massive lag, 10+ seconds, pit unplayable, then dc to desktop or worse, death.

same, game freezes for 10-60+ seconds randomly on travel/inventory/npc interaction, often crashes to desktop
Same here. Was fine until the small patch.
AMD Ryzen 5 + AMD X7700XT, Windows 11 Home.
I have tried reinstall Windows…
Edit: Disable cross play seems to help on the lag/hang on inventory, NPC, loading to hordes etc. but crashes to desktop.
Same here, hard crash to desktop trying to load into an infernal dungeon after hanging on loading screen.
Just managed to load into one but again 5 seconds in hard crash to desktop.
Last night my game was running smooth as butter. No change on my end, so probably a server issue which has been fixed.
Lucky you, but no it has not, today it has been (again) impossible to connect since noon (CET time). The morning was fine, but all of sudden game freeze and impossible to get pass the character menu, “diablo reconnecting” then crashes. Another day in Diablo, since may 2024, despite all the reinstalls, bios/drivers updates, tune down of graphics, …
