As the title say :
With ‘normal’/physic (non blighted) corpse explosion, equiped with Black River & Howl from Below unique, often even if there is just one elite on screen and nothing else, corpse INSIDE the suppression zone, i launch a corpse explosion, the explosion triggered within the suppression zone annnnd… Nothing, no damage…
Dunno why, maybe because the radius of the corpse explosion is greater than the suppression zone ? But it’s pretty aweful when it happens…
It does no damage because your character is outside the bubble when you cast corpse explosion even if the corpse is inside it.
You have to actually be inside the bubble when you cast for it to do any damage. It’s a bit stupid really and very annoying that it snapshots your character location on cast.

Strangely it seems for me (maybe i’m wrong) that sometime even if i’m outside the suppression zone and the corpse is inside, it did damage ennemy…

Edit : After test, it seems that sometime, even if i’m in the suppression zone, the corpse explosion don’t do damage 
Tested this and it would appear that you and all of your minions have to be in the surpressor in order for YOU to do damage to the mob. Which is astronomically stupid since the AI for the pets is half ass at best.
