I’d love it if it was possible to crit regular helltide chests.
Read someone complaining that it’s less efficient after the first two big chests, going around to the smaller ones. It could even be more efficient getting smaller chests over time than the big ones because I would still go for big ones first thing.
After the big chests I usually pause, which is a good thing; play twenty minutes and ease up for twenty or whatever until the next one. The design is pretty good for helltides I think, because you can get the lion’s share at any point in the helltide except the very last minutes. But it’s also bad when I feel like farming because it is about -40% efficiency and it does smart.
Therefore I propose that lesser chests could also crit and that mystery chests had a bigger chance of critting, perhaps greater than the steel chests themselves. That way it’s exciting to open any chest and it helps a lot for the starting guy who’s struggling to farm 75 cinders for a bit of looting.
