How is possible slain 40 million goblin in 17 days (from day 17 December to day 2 January)?
Impossible to get first reward, and certainly fail the last reward (40 millions is last reward).

People on xbox PS and PC will do it together
I hope you didn’t think that you as a solo player should do it.

If you only got 12 hours out of this game, you are playing it wrong.
You dont have to do it yourself, its a community challenge. When a player anywhere in the world, on any platform, kills a goblin, it counts for the challenge.
Besides, i have a sneaky suspicion these community challenges are rigged to always win. I have seen a bunch of games do these and never once seen a failed challenge.
12 hrs uh? And I bet 10hrs were spent during character creation. Get out of here and play something else.
okok is better the situatuon then, after I’ve read better the post, is a community conquest, anyway I think if the numbers of players in the servers or in the world is enough to win the challenge? The number of kills remin so big!!
Did they forget to add treasure goblins to this event? haven’t seen a single one all night.

because ofcourse they put most goblins in nahantu…
Is the Goblin event for Seasonal players only or is it for Eternal as well ?
I can’t find them and if they appear they are very rare at sight…
EDIT: Nahantu is the best region where you can hunt them.
Also, is this event worlwide ? Because if not, than I can not see how it is possible to kill 50 milion Goblins in 2 weeks, lol.
Where can you see how many goblins was slain already? I would like to see the progression we are making.
worldwide, it is a community challenge
Just spent an hour in Nahantu doing Helltide and side quests, zero Goblins found.
*Just done another hour and the only two goblins I found were summoned with the scrolls in a Dungeon, even the Realmwalker no longer has goblins randonly spawning.
Is this event bugged or b0rked?
“beat back the incursions of greedy mongrels”, “While eviscerating packs of greedy goblins”, " beat the tides of Treasure Goblins".
See, reading these descriptions Blizzard made I was thinking there were going to be a LOT of goblins - like more than you could kill before they jumped through their portals, something like the Goblin Vault in D3. I was thinking that maybe a whole pack of them would appear somewhere on the map like every 15 mins or something and there would be a frenzy of slaughter before some of them escaped. What I experienced however, was quite different.
After riding around in Nahantu for well over an hr, I had found “packs” of 2 goblins at a time, in total I probably saw around 10 of these packs, which while technically is an increase in goblin numbers than usual, really wasn’t what Blizzard actually hinted at with the words they used to advertise this event.
Now, I’m REALLY hoping that the small number is because it’s the beginning of the event and when we reach the first goal, these “pack” numbers will increase (come one Blizzard, here’s your chance to fix an event before it’s counted as another non-event).
What WOULD have been cool, would be if there were actual packs of goblins from the beginning and they were guarded by a few of The Butcher - wearing Santa hats, or perhaps The Krampus.
Also Blizzard, please put in a counter somewhere if you haven’t already (I couldn’t find one).
It seems this event was pushed out before they completed writing it. No status counter, no NPC, or anything. I did get a marker on my map today like a quest, went there and saw some new stuff in town like there are suppose to be special vendors. But…can not click on any of them, they do nothing.
Are we still waiting on something more to happen or show up in game? This can not be all there is to it?
