D4 Put Gems in their own area inventory tab! Please im begging you

Dont do it Blizzard please! Gems in the inventory bag is a curse to us all. Highly consider moving gems to their OWN dedicated tab section of the inventory. Gems arent “equipment”.

Agree. It wouldn’t be so annoying if they were less common, but I’ll go to town and pop them in storage only to almost immediately after have my inventory flooded with them again and it’s not going to get worse once we start dropping the higher rarity of gems. Soon we’ll be having chipped, flawed, and higher rarities dropping and having our inventory get absolutely jammed with them.

Definitely need the gems in a separate tab.

Also need more inventory space, it really is inconvenient to fill up and not be done what we were doing

I’m still baffled at people who want more inventory space. Long gone are the days of inventory Tetris, and you still want more. I’m an absolute loot goblin, and I’m still conflicted on how simplified the inventory has become…

I hope they do lik D3 where as you level the gems step up.

Just leave the gems on the stash, the Jeweler can pick them up from there, there’s no need to carry them around.

I wholeheartedly agree. I think the drop rate of these items warrant, at least some kind of different collectable management.

I agree. Gems should have their own tab like Consumables and Aspects.

I agree. Hard to imagine small gem taking same place in inventory as whole 2-handed axe or staff. Earlier people used to wear gems in some sort of small bags, separate from coins and other stuff, because guess what - gems are small.

Gems have always been in the bag - original Diablo - you’d have piles of items in town gems included and before you quit you’d make sure to sell all the crap; pick up the best. Same in D2; but at least you had storage. Which would be normally completely filled with gems. Basically that’s what storage is for - gems. they aren’t going to fundamentally change the entire game to add in a gems tab. D3 was the same - well also upgrade parts; but mostly gems

They would have had to put that design in from the start. Now down the line in an expansion they might; but that’s always been something you’ve had to balance in the game. Storage

There were gems in Diablo??

I remember them in D2, but not the first…

Or give the button that like in GW2 where u can “teleport” gems from inventory to the bank even if u are in the open world.

Buy a tab then… the answer is already in the game, expand your storage…

ah crap yea they brought them in D2 for sockets; this is just making want to buy diablo on GOG

I think this is not about storage, but player’s inventory. We have to TP to city too often, to just disassemble or sell few weapons we have looted, because the remaining place is taken by gems.

I dont get that many gems, maybe 5-6 at most… per trip, takes nothing to tp back and store them. Still seems a non issue to me. Servers are laggy atm…

Diablo 1 had elixirs that permanently boosted a stat, gems were introduced in D2.

I remember those… of course D1 also had shrines that would lower your stats permamently as well.

And max stats for each class… but you could still save the +magic items for the warrior and get them to learn every spell anyway.

I think the shrines with negative aspects really helped that game. not all things were positive about your journey, and sometimes something bad would happen that you could have avioded, but it wasn’t game breaking enough to start a new character for.

thatll cost about 350 platinum
