Dailies or time gated activity

I couldn’t find any clear answer to this topic yet, will the game have dailies?

My number one criteria for buying this game, that it won’t be based on doing daily grind.

Yes the game will have dailies.(Tree of whispers)

“Dailys” is the term for daily quests.

According to the Devs it won’t. But since when has the opinion of a Dev ever mattered… won’t have pay to win… already has pay to win… lol.

My understanding is that the game is not an MMO and will not have traditional MMO daily quests, however there is bounties, and this carries over from Diablo 3. Instead of Tyrael being the bounty vendor, its a spooky tree. There has been no speak of daily limits, and the only time-gated aspect is being far along in the game progression wise that you can physically visit the vendor Tree.

As I said it’s my understanding of it and I’m not in a position to confirm or deny. But I highly doubt it will have a daily bounty system such as Lost Ark’s.

The Tree of Whispers is part of the endgame system of Diablo IV. The Tree provides players with frequently cycling world objectives and bounties that reward them with Legendary gear, experience, crafting materials, and more

The clarification was not necessary. Lost Ark’s daily bounty system was almost like having a second job, the Tree of Whispers, although a bounty vendor, has not shown any similar traits to Lost Ark’s thus far was the point of my post.

I just pray to god the world bosses won’t be on a timer in the live game. I hate the feeling of being forced to login to not miss out on some world boss kill or any other weekly timed activity.

The best part of ARPG and for me diablo3 is you can login and play whenever you want to and you never miss out on anything, except maybe the challenger cache box.

Thats exactly how its going to be, the hell tide events will be on a timer too. So if you can only play for an hour you better pray that its on the actual event not its hour cooldown.

Where we have p2w?
How do you buy power?

Well…

Buying the game IS pay to win. You literally cannot win, if you don’t pay for the game.

Buying the ultimate edition is paying to win first… cause you start earlier…

How do you buy power? Usually with your Prepay Electricity card.

My question is… Where is the Spooky Tree?

Simply cannot argue with the logic applied here.

Logic is for smart people. I have no interest in intelligent argument. It’s too late at night for it.

most likely you are talking about the seasons .They are limited by the passage time.I hope they will be like a constantly new event, and not create a character and play again and again. The fact that Ashava is on time is not very pleasing .

I stopped playing after the Diablo 3 seasons .I couldn 't create characters there every time every three months .

Well this game has an identity crisis. Is it an mmo? Is it an arpg? Is it diablo 2,5? Is it diablo 3,5? So my guess is they will have some form of repetitive boring chores, call it dailys or not. Boring and repetitive quests/objectives/dailys/events seem to be kind of the new theme for diablo.

100% agree. Loved the feeling of just logging in when ever i felt i had the time in D2. Comming from an almost burned-out wow player because of all the schedual enforcements i hate to see this in Diablo…

The weekly loot chest from the world boss suggests that some content will be time gated. I really hope they keep that stuff to a minimum or get rid of it entirely, I want D4 to be a Diablo game, not a MMO. The spawn timer of the worldboss dosen’t sit well with me either. Any timegating or forced multiplayer content is most unwelcome IMO
