Damage taken too high too early in PIT on fully stat capped necro?

1350 int, 31k life, 10500 armor (9500 is cap) , 20k attack, 160 base resource

minions, bonespear, auto tendrils, bone spirit (for one shot power),auto corpse explosion
cold mages, warrior skellis +1, golem or not golem depending on situation +
boots +2 skell

ravenous ring+deathspeaker+echo aspect for huge blood surge, life leech , x2 aoe on me and minions, bone spear for raw damage, bone spirit for aoe kill power, self heal on every cast, resource recover on life recovered on me and minions

sometimes i ditch corpse explosion to add a golem to my skill bar but it doesnt really matter unless i really need another 30% DR (my base is 25 )

resource is recovered by healing which works fine due to at least 30+ percent on self heal bonus, casting of surge is basically near speed cap always,

my brick wall starts at about 35 PIT and 80+ NM where my character is one shot
too often for it to be even viable later

i make extensive use of incense and advanced potion / seasonal holy bolt etc (which is a instant screen clearer in helltide and legion and lower NM, PIT)

so why the hell is 30+ Pit already getting too hard for a character that is basically top tier gear and stat wise but does not run a busted meta build .

Getting one shot by things you cant avoid because they exceed normal human reaction speed or are totally impossible to avoid is no fun really…

Yeah other people can clear higher stuff, are probably running busted builds and are maybe a bit better in mobility (necro despite being at base speed cap really sucks at that),
but i consider myself fairly above average in both build, skill and items
(i also invested some serious effort into min maxing my gear, getting masterworks to 6…and now hit progression wall because getting to the highest material tier is nigh
undoable)

It seems that specifically the late game tiers and bosses are all designed to be beatable only by broken damage output in hundreds of millions - to billion so people dont have to go through the mechanics and dont run risk of ever getting seriously hit?

You say … Your build is just bad… but why is a build bad that blows everything in the game out of the water to the 80s of NM (even deleted the butcher on 81) until you reach a certain point like Pit 41+ where you get deleted randomly by trash.

Just do boss mechanics, cmon… My build is Blizzard sorc (not even S tier or Top build), and my Necro friend is just same build as you are.

We are at 78 now, im 8/12 masterworked, he is around 4-8/12…

Masterwork items and train yourself, or you avoid all the crap, or you die.

Cmon, my necro friend is 62 years old, even he managed to learn it.

Work harder, upgrade, do boss mechanics and all your dreams come true.

Dont know if they really “designed” them and tested them or something. They probably just tested until tier10 then called it a day and made it linear to 200. No way 1 dev ever saw 60+.
And for your answer, you need multiple layers of defense OR better perma damage immune uptime with cooldown reduction (fireshield, blood mist). Balance is not in this game, so abuse 100% perma immune uptime + bazillion damage or get rekt.

you are doing the stuff at level 78 you joker… Wait until you get 100 LOL

im 8/12 myself ofc , i mistyped

you do know that the damage you receive below approx level 80 is a joke compared to Level 100 and you quite dont scale in power like you do in the below 80s ?

Frost Lord 130 , he has a ground beam he does 3 times in changing directions that comes out so fast that its extremely hard to avoid especially because it also is not very easy to see it in the first place. This beam ONE HITS YOU at level 100 with fully maxed out resist, armor, 40% DR,and maximum fortify,8/12 mw So this boss at Level 31 Pit is stronger than some UEBERS…

Yeahhhh absolutely makes sense.,
