Dear blizz, stop leaving the best content just for EXP to sell

Ok. It’s not prohibited to go after money, but this is worrying.

The game is broken this season, and with a great rival around the corner (POE2). 7 season later and we still beat the season in 2 weeks (this season will be like 4 days)

What blizz is doing? Are devs too busy making the next EXP and just throwing random things at us? It seems blizz only cares about selling EXPs and Battle passes.

I think the “new” (now is old) vision for the game to make better systems and make permanent is better for a game service like D4. Backing to borrowed power just leaves us with empty hands at the end of the season and does not contribute anything to the game in a long run.

I love brain-dead super casual content D4 serves (read: dad farming). Doesn’t take much time, I especially enjoy this season because I can farm almost everything myself (without having to tedious spam on trade), headhunts are so enjoyable to me. For hardcore and in-depth experience I have POE2 which I’m currently taking time off after 250 hours played. I hope they will leave headhunts as core game without any changes.

Shockingly, not everyone sits in mom’s basement and plays sixteen hours a day.

Well said, and I agree.

Things like Vampiric Powers and Witch Powers can be harmful as well or borrowed power in general. The introduction of these things may lead to the removal of core mechanics from builds and historically this company almost never re adjusts for when the borrowed power is gone.

I’m honestly torn. The major difference between this game and Diablo 3 vs Diablo 2 was that D2 was released much closer to ‘finished’ than either of 3/4. 4 is shaping up to be worse than 3 at launch, somehow. So I don’t think they should on principal be gaining any other profit other than the initial sale.

On the realistic side of things it takes money to fix some of these issues, and keep the game going. However if the same people or tech wherever the blame lies are used than the same issues will remain. It isn’t a question of should money be spent to fix the issues with the game but how is that money spent? Between your points and mine clearly the money isn’t being spent well. It’s irksome as a customer to watch this knowing I’d happily pay the cost of a partial battle pass for seasonal access for a clean game.
