Good afternoon, you see, I’m considering the idea of buying Diablo 4 but after all the threads I’ve seen regarding the problems of certain GPUs with the game, I would like to know from personal experience if you could help me clear up any doubts.
My PC is as follows:
If someone has played the betas with said card and is kind enough to comment on their experience, or if there is a page where they can inform me more deeply about this problem, I would greatly appreciate it.
Although Blizzard did not specifically state what was causing the GPU bricking difficulties in Diablo 4, the problem is limited to mainly Gigabyte and ASUS NVIDIA RTX3080-series graphics cards. It’s noteworthy that other models might be impacted. According to the engineers, the developers are collaborating closely with NVIDIA to identify vulnerable hardware configurations.
First things first, thank you very much for answering.
I had read about the 3080 model, but in a thread on this forum I saw that there were many models with the same problem.
My card is from Gigabyte, so unless Blizzard comes out with an official statement, which I think it should have done from the first moment these problems were reported, I’m afraid I’m not going to play Russian roulette with my PC.
I’m also a bit tired of companies treating buyers as testers (I know there was a closed beta, one and two open, this is not the case) but a game that I know of has been in development for 5 years now just 3 months away He has these problems after his departure and also the person in charge does not deign to make a statement saying so, it seems to me a little careless.
But again thanks and I hope you enjoy it, in my case I prefer to wait.
Thanks for commenting. No, Blizzard does not have any kind of official note or whatever is Official on their part, and it seems very strange to me that it only happens with their game, my PC runs Warhammer 3 total war in ultra without any problem So I highly doubt that Diablo 4 uses more GPU resources than Warhammer (I have no idea about these issues), but I’m not going to risk losing the graphics card because Blizzard doesn’t want to admit that their game has a problem, or because that they have done things wrong, this reminds me of the famous error 37 of Diablo 3 that was the fault of the users’ routers according to Blizzard.
So I’ll wait until the 6th and see what happens in the forums.
