Diablo 4 crashes my internet connection

You can try disable IPV6 on your xbox? and Check if it happens? IPv6 has been known to cause problems on some Xbox. Maybe that is some issue around that.
I don’t know if your Xbox have the function to disable it, but you probly can do it on your router.

Use secure DNS is disabled by default.
The only toxicity here is from your post when you are trying to attack me as a defense.
You assumed we are all using browsers. Its right there in your post.
So please stop it.

To be fair to him this thread has been piled on by various different connectivity issues, not one single issue causes connectivity issues on very single system and device, if the details they provided was a fix for them and works for at least one other person then it was worth while posting. If you want bespoke support open a ticket with Blizzard.

How can i open a ticket directly to blizzard support? Many thanks

https://eu.battle.net/support/en/help/product/diablo4

Thanks, i view this support link but after specify the problem i don’t found the open ticket function/button…

“I’d rather categorize my issue” (Instead of giving a description) > “Technical” > “I can’t connect” > “Contact Us” > “Open a Ticket”

And i was just joking with my bro about Diablo 4 crashing my internet… lo and behold found this thread making my joke a reality.

Sad sad struggling indie company, hope they get funds soon to remake the whole game.

I have the same issue since season 1, no problem before. When I play D4, my ethernet connection disconnects randomly for 5sec to 30sec. Sometimes I can play 3 hours without problem, sometimes the problem appears every 2 minutes. It only appends when i play D4. In Wow or other games I do not have this problem… It’s very anoying…

Always online “offline” games. The future is here and is pretty shit.

I’m having the same issue on PC since last patch, I get disconnected randomly from battle.net and the app goes offline and my friends list disappears and in-app info for other games disappears, if I happen to be watching Twitch or YT on my 2nd monitor, it will also interrupt the stream/internet connection but just on my PC, no one else in the home experiences interruptions on their devices and no other games cause this interruption. I could be playing for 5 minutes or 1 hour and it has happened several times every day since the previous patch. Actually kind of unplayable.

same dc random evrywhere and every few mins its unplayable My internet is super and ok i play another real MMO and havent any problems ONLY blizzard servers mayabe need buy new models and stop say what all we must settings:(

Many thanks, i try this menù step but it seems that traceroute and diagnostic files (windows or mac) are mandatory (i play D4 on console xbox) and i think for that submit button is inactive, could anyone help me to open a ticket to blizzard support for disconnection problems during diablo 4 session with my Xbox console?

Hi! i’ve been experiencing these disconnects pretty much since launch and been lurking here on the forums applying different community suggestions. Well, yesterday i might have found MY solution and i’m here to share: in your Bnet Launcher, go to settings>downloads and check if you have “Limit Bandwidth” turned on in any way. I don;t remember when i turned this on, maybe from my OW days, but it was on, with pre-release content option limited to 100 kb/s. Makes little sense why this fixed my issue but i’ve had no disconnect/network fail for 2 days now which is…highly unlikely to happen based on my experience with this game.

Just adding myself to this thread.
I’m having the same issue.

I’m using a direct connection to my cable modem, no routers. My network card crashes 10 minutes after launching D4.
Happens on both of my PCs.

replying to my own post to say the issue came back…guess it was just some sort of lucky streak…

I thank you for the effort and that you try to help. I use Microsoft Edge, maybe that’s the problem. We should all say which browser we use. At the moment I have removed that DNS from the browser and I have removed the bandwidth limit of the launcher, I will try like this. I’ll comment. Another option is to uninstall Edge later.

I think I found a solution for myself. It is still early to confirm it, but at the moment everything is going smoothly and well.

In my router, in the wi-fi section, dual-band use, one for 2.4Ghz and one for 5G. And the “scan” option appears, which would be like looking for a channel with better stability or fewer people, or with less traffic, or less busy. When you give to scan you change the channel. That has gone well for me, so far.

If I see that I am no longer disconnected, I will confirm that this solved my problem.

Surely this will help some people, but other people have to find another solution.

I have 1000 gb internet, I just bought a completely new computer. I was playing RDR2, Remnant 2 and I was fine. I played Diablo 4 with networking OFF for about 2 hours with friends, and the GAME completely bricked my internet. It just cut everything, My PVR which is connected via Ethernet in my house worked FINE, my WiFi on my phone worked FINE. But the computer would simply not connect back to the internet for 5-10 minutes.

This is a game/software issue, this is a blizzard Issue, This is a network connection issue on their end. This has nothing to do with ISP’s. If it did, people from all over the world with different routers and adapters would not be having the exact same issue.

Fix this garbage.

Hello good morning support, i have xbox x series and very often during the diablo 4 game appears a disconnection message and the game session is closed (after that it seems that xbox internet connection drops for a few seconds).

I’’m from Italy and i use an Adsl Telecom internet connection with a smart Tim modem.

Thanks for your help, regards.
