Hi guys, any help or update on why Diablo 4 has been stuck on “Playing Now” … need to restart my pc everytime i want to play the game i spent a s… load of money on. any fix???

This started to happening me today. Cant even see it on Task Manager. And it takes like 15-25min to launch

the game u can see at background process on task manager, have the same problem, i was thinking that only me have the problem, i’ve reinstalled, repaired the game, nothing, need to restart the pc to try to play.

Same issue is happening to me, the options are either restarting the pc or waiting around 10-15 minutes for the game to finally decide to launch properly.
Had it a few weeks back, it vanished and in the past week the issue has returned.
tried repairing the installation, changing high resolution packs and prioritizing perfomance mode.
No luck solving the issue.
I founded kinda easier solution to fix it. If you using example Avast turn it off and launch D4 it instantly opens game window and then you can activate Avast again on. Hope this helps some1…
This way isnt that “painful” than restarting PC all the time

Guys I have the same problem as you, the game is installed on my drive D. First it worked fine and I noticed that immediately after the Win10 update the KB5034441 cannot be installed, I had the problem with D4. It takes at least 10 minutes to start up, I believe that the problem is precisely that and I am waiting for the fix from Microsoft
I finally solved it, maybe it will help someone. In your antivirus protection (in my case avast) turn of rootkits shield. After turned off game run perfectly.
