Diablo 4 VoH. The release of Diablo 4 has marked another entry in perma beta and the expac is no exception. The bugs are horrific, the character is so OP I was clearing pit 150 by day 2. 35 years on and I understand NONE of the og team of creative devs exist. It is no excuse for how horrible Blizzard games have been since the reign of Bobby K/ Cata.
If VoH was the last stand for Blizz to do something, nothing is the something you have achieved. It is horrific trying to speak to anyone in game, profile/armoury does not exist (I understand you might just be a low budget indy company but really? even D2 and D3 had armoury,) and grouping requires inviting players to bnet? Really?
Even the basics in any game ever are brutally painful to find or use in game. Maybe this is due to majority of your gamers being micro transition players and game pass console players. Regardless D4 and D4 voh are akin to the unforgiving gameplay styles of titles we (actual gamers) played in 1998.
You have come along way to go nowhere. Devs are obviously overworked being taxed to produce the next skin or mount and the actual team being put to content is extremely understaffed. The time has come to admit the ship has sailed.
I am sure my post is unwelcome and will be disregarded. Having played since Lost Vikings/ D1 and WC, I did take a 10 year break after MoP as even WoW became lamer than it had been at the end of Wrath. The company will survive on nostalgia as it most certainly is not surviving on innovation.
I cannot even move in town in D4 as my merc mounts up and traps me in walls. There are so many unforgiveable physics issues that even sonic devs sorted out with the Genesis in the 90s that you lot have reinvented.
Thankfully for you that you did develop the game taking more than 2 hours to get the point of players not being able to refund before realising it was not worth playing after the 3rd hour.
