Well, I’m enjoying the last epoch, it eats the devil from top to bottom, here you have to pay to just kill Duriel and on top of that the items he drops are pure shit, until it’s free to kill the bosses it’s a business for Blizzard with the sale of material. Pure thieves.
Same here. Last Epoch is Uber without Duriel. Goodbye D4.
Fare thee well, traveler. May your adventurous journey satisfy.
Enjoy your games.
Don’t forget to turn off the light, when we leave after season 4 release. Enjoy your Diablo 4.
Thank you, I will and I am.
I’m hoping season 4 will have a lot of oomph. Wasn’t feeling season 3 at all because I dislike pets and I remember how annoying the merc was in D2, and I dislike constructs thematically, but as it turns out I feel they made good on it.
I’m seeing new things on the map, which was my main concern with season 2; how I had nothing to do but dungeoneering once the helltide closed.
Sincerely seeing good things. But I need more builds. My dream is that any item is possibly the best one for you. That I can build more freely. Like I wanted to stack up on dodge but I really can’t cause Tibault’s is required for pants. That also means I can’t get concealment on pants and other cool stuff like life, damage reduction, dodge, dmg red when injured, dex, all stat or even cc time reduction. I also can’t take Tasset’s of the dawning sky and I really can’t see myself wearing Temerity, getting in on that shielding business.
And there’s many more examples on forced equips of course, and the higher we go the more narrow the gearing requirement becomes.
Hoping they’ll make that work, better at least.
We’ll see up ahead.
Most of my friends are not online anymore. I see them playing D3 or Hearthstone. I don’t care two crapss about LE, but it is a shame to see people quitting D4, I understand the reasons too.
Gauntlet was a total bummer uninteresting release.
I do hope D4 does better in the future with the upcoming changes. Time will tell. RIP D4 in the time being.
Haven’t tried the gauntlet, always busy tinkering with builds. Not in a hurry either, my playing is centered around helltides. I use the materials from there to trade into what I like or spend it on Duriel of course. But I’ll get there eventually. It’s not that there’s too many great builds to run but I think it’s fun balancing the stats and see what I can do with what I got, try some different things; even if I know they don’t really hold it’s pretty fun to see what can be done.
And ya, hope good changes are coming; there’s absolutely many problems, the most glaring one being: Worst end game in the world. You know it’s bad when no one wants to run the end boss and the only alleviation is speed, further pushing people into all barb. It’s such a boring way of condensing materials collected. Not sure how to make it fun either. Like the boss has so much hitpoints and without a busted builder in the party everyone gets impatient cause it’s not fun chasing a burrowing maggot for five minutes twenty times.
One thing I’ve been thinking about is what if drops improved based on how you did? Damage would of course be important but everything should be accounted for: Like how many cooldowns used and how many successful evades and also if you’re outmatched should be a bonus. Like if you have s damage, bad defense and you go in and still get out on top you should get rewarded with better drops; in my opinion.
And also: Solo, duo and trio should be a consideration to make. You shouldn’t get exactly the same efficiency but you should get something. Like if I’m solo I get +100% drop. That’s still half of what I get with a four man. Maybe that’d be too much but it’s annoying to always have to rally a party. Sure it’s easy now but with Malphas it’s been slowing somewhat since last season and come some more bosses and it’ll be more troublesome gathering up for a particular boss.
I’ll stick to Diablo IV.
have fun!!
If you enjoy to play Last Epoch then good for you. I prefer Diablo IV over Last Epoch and all are different. Enjoy!
pure npc i envy u guys
Last Epoch has good parts from D3, PoE and some new things. They have mix them very fanny way. When you start to play, it is familiar at once. Grafting is very good and collecting materials and items are easy. You don’t have to bye nothing if you don’t want. Last Epoch is just of that kind that D4 should be. I almost swear that team must have former designers from Blizz and GGG.
D4 try to discover weel again and they only got ski.
I REALLY HAVE FUN WITH LAST EPOCH.
ignorance is bliss, as they say. whatever way u want to twist it.
Diablo 4 is only for duriel materials, there is no more game, either you farm like crazy or you PAY and blizzard profits
Last Epoch dropped out of Top 10 chart to the low level like bad and old Game Destiny 2. Much even lower than Call of Duty and below two year old game Elden Ring.
This so call D4 killer is imploded as massive exodus of players as it has no real end game content and bad graphic.
Every game has it’s plus and minus
Like for example last epoch builds and all that is amazing
but the graphical style and combat feels like i’m playing 2005 game
On the other hand d4 is crispy when it comes to combat
but suck so hard when it comes to building your character cause there is only one way.
Honestly I didn’t like last epoch. The combat felt worse than d4 and I didn’t like the items. nothing really felt “special” I got a whole review on my steam page of last epoch and why I dislike it but me and my friend group play d4 more and have dropped LE. the combat and items just don’t feel good. not to mention the crafting system is just way easier to brick items.
While I loved the ability to craft unique builds in LE the devs unfortunately kneecapped a ton of interactions that bothered me.
also D4 has a visceral satisfaction when I slam HoTA or shoot a fireball that I love.
when i see this kind of posts i wonder what is the point of them? If ‘you’ took the decision to leave D4/or any game, just leave. Expressing your frustration in this manner is childish and non-constructive.
P.S. To say LastE… is better than D4 is hilarious. I have seen mobile games that look better than that game and it terms of content, well i can’t say anything cause i would not be able to play anyway a game that hurts my eyes only by looking at it
at least it didnt cost 70$
I wonder how people figure all games should be top 50€ like it is 1989.
As a hobby, games are dirt cheap. You get so many hours from such a small cost.
Then, as companies try to get paid and find new ways of selling, people complain about it. Some even proclaim that expansions should be free as a compensation for D4 not being finished on release, which would be an impossible task to accomplish as you can’t know what to do without trial and error in all cases.
But hey, you do you and I do me. I’m content with pricing and I expect prices to rise further together with the massive inflation the world is experiencing as every other product. And I am happy about the cosmetics because they do keep pricing down and gives the initiative to the customer on what they like to purchase or not. So don’t have to spend much at all if you rather not, just the initital cost of the game and you got it. But if you do like to spend, there is something to purchase. Everyone wins, the way I see it.
I’ve played D4 for 1100 hours now. 70€/1100h = 0.06€/h
Now that’s a bargain.
Perhaps you only played a 100 hours. Then it’s 0.7€ per hour.
A bargain.
Perhaps only 10 hours. 7€ an hour then.
Fairly priced.
Try getting away with that at the movies: 11€ for 1.5h + popcorn and soda = 20€ easy.
The longer you play a farm to farm like this one, an endless game, the cheaper it gets. Which is synergetic with that a farm to farm is explicitly made to be played for a long time.
