Diablo 4 was unable to open a critical file

I’m playing Diablo 4 with Game Pass, today the game didn’t start with an error, I updated everything I could, when I try to update the game in battlenet it says, unfortunately, an error has occurred, try again later. When will this be fixed?

Had this happen to me today too, my fix was to run the launcher from the game directory, it then prompted me to login. Worked after that.
