The volumes of dialogues and effects seem to try adapt to each other:
When a dialogue triggers (dungeon boss, event,…), the effects volume first gets lowered and dialogue volume gets raised, until you start using skills (at least that’s what it feels like) and then the dialogue basically cuts off, it’s just quietly in the background, while the effects volume gets cranked back up.
I thought that’s what the volume controls are for, so i can set the volumes individually as i like them? Why is it automatically screwing around with the volumes?
The different volume controls definitely affect each other when the game tries to attenuate with dialogue and so on. It’s super annoying.
Personally I find that if I do either 0 or 100 and only have one other slider adjusted to somewhere in the middle it’s somewhat fine. I just generally want to have a little bit of what’s going on and then be able to hear the voices, so I’ve turned off everything, kept voices at 100 and effects 50 and otherwise just use the master slider.
