I got disconnect 4 times while attempting to defeat final boss elias in fallen temple for world tier 4. I get a text that says I have to wait before I can log back in. When I log back in, all progress is lost. 4 times. Must’ve been unlucky. No idea what is causing this. It’s not my internet. Internet works fine.

The same thing happens to me, I just tried to play this game again for the Christmas event and it kicks me off the server, so you can’t play it without any interruption or you dislike playing it, nice options. My internet connection is also working properly. Worst game of the saga, I wish I hadn’t bought it.

Hey Macleod, for your disconnections issue you can try the steps here.
If the issue continues once you’ve done those, you can then report this further by ticket and provide your system’s report files attached to that.

Yesterday me and my friend was disconnected from the game, again during elias encounter (fallen temple (70)) for the 7h time. It cannot be a coincidence. Both our internet was perfectly fine. Never happens on other games. Never happens during any other dungeon. Or activity, in diablo 4.
After fighting elias for a while, we get taken back to game menu without a visible character selection. Disconnnect error. I press ok. And then another error saying I need to wait before logging in, as the character menu appears, and I press ok. If we log in without waiting we get send back to menu with same error message. I wait a minute or two. Log in. And all progress in fallen temple is lost.
Fallen temple is a vital dungeon. We need to complete it in order to gain acces to higher difficulty. But the dungeon takes longer to reach the final boss, then any other dungeon. And when we lose progress 7 times during elias final boss fight encounter. It’s as if we have done 11 dungeons. And now we need to do it again. For the 8th time. Just so that we can reach elias again. And hope I don’t get disconnected again during elias fight.
Every time, we get disconnnected during the elias boss encounter. This may be a bug.
It cant be a coincidence. 7 times. EXACTLY always during elias fight, final boss of fallen temple (lvl 70). And never disconnected anywhere else. If that isn’t a bug, I must certainly be the most lucky/unlucky person ever.
p. s. I do have to say, the fallen temple elias boss encounter is the most fun gameplay experience I’ve ever experienced in diablo 4. Hope there will he more bosses like that.
