Dissapointed no Offline mode for D4

Seems another Offline Mode Topic was deleted so I will say it here again.

I was very dissapointed to learn this game will feature no Offline Mode.
My intention was to play this with my girlfriend on our playstation which is sat in a place without wifi.

Very sad as we were both looking forward to playing it together much like we did D3.

Same here!
I tried to turn off the online option in the settings and saved it when I did. But when I went back to the settings because I still saw players in the town in D4, the option was back “active” again. So the option is not really an “option”.

Also want to play with GF on sofa as we don’t have a good internet connection. Why does it always has to be online force??? This is so fu***ed up as this will mess up my favorite game of all time…

It’s done like this for multiple reasons, but one of them is to cater to a much larger market, wider appeal. The online only model works.

You don’t have to like it, I sure don’t. It is what it is now, and even if you don’t buy the game it won’t make a difference because this game will sell more than any prior Diablo title.

I hear ya, online multiplayer shouldn’t be forced on you, they really ought to have allowed the players to toggle social interaction on or off depending on your internet or playstyle. Not everyone is online friendly.

I agree. The player should have the option to play offline.

Some games have guns and some people don’t like it so they don’t buy it. Same goes with online requirements.
If u don’t want to have connection to internet then the game ain’t for you.
Sure other diablo had offline mode (diablo 3 was ruined by offline cause of coping items etc…)
But u can’t compare diablo 4 with the other cause Diablo 4 has envoled into completely different way of a game into a online game, world bosses, events etc etc
This is diablo immortal Premium litterly without p2w and u can’t play offline mode on immortal either.

Go to something else or just accept it.

While I personally enjoy the online aspect, I think it is an un-needed restriction.
And I disagree with the “Go to something else or just accept it.” comment.

There should be an option to make an offline character, which would share nothing with your online characters (not even the Lilith Altars and stuff like that).
Doesn’t matter if you miss out on some features like world bosses, events etc. If it’s a personal preference of yours to play completely offline, you should be able to.
Especially for console players who apparently would have to pay a subscription fee to play the game…
