Do I need to buy Diablo 4 on Steam to play it even that I have it on Battlenet/Blizzard?
If you already have Diablo IV on battle.net so no! If you want to use on steam so yes you have to buy new.
Your game license is for battle.net. If you want a game license for steam, then yes you will have to buy it again. The license cannot be transfered or copied from one platform to another.
I thought it was the same as you can do with Overwatch.
Overwatch works the same way, except from the fact that you dont have to pay for a game license as it is free to play. The steam license and the Battle.net license are still seperate game licenses. Both Overwatch and Diablo 4 has cross platform progression, but not cross platform game licenses.
I have a copy of Diablo 4 on Battle.net and my friend wants to buy the game on steam. If she does that while I play on Battle.net, will I be able to play with her and do things together in the game like bosses and other stuff? Need a full explanation on how this works and thank you.
Yes it will work. does not matter where you buy the game.
