Do you think we will see diablo or mephisto in the game?

personally from what i hear from reviews, i dont think so,

first of all, the reason is, apparently the story is not complete and will be further expanded with more updates as i hear it.

second of all, i hear alot of mixed things about the story in d4, some say the story is good, others its a let down, and some that its just okay, so i do not think we will see a big diablo reveal or some imperius or anything unexpected plot twist, but i REALLY hope so,

i completly agree, i just wonder how you could say the game is MEh and not very good if you literally see diablo return or even mephisto, its impossible to be bad,

my only conclusion to this is the reviewers do NOT know the entire story from 1-4 and before the games, and i also think diablo will be teased but not shown and we will see him in a future update

Good point, also it’s a live service game, the story can be told over a very long period outwith the initial campaign, even if its seasonal that a lore embedded characters make an appearance here and there.

exactly, i believe they will tell the story of inarius and lillith, we know we will see andarial and duriel, but if we see who the wolf is, if he is indeed mephisto and if we will see it expanded on i think that will be left for future patches/expansions to keep the game alive, without a story to tell it wouldnt be very profitable,

i want to see

  • tathamet

  • anu

  • baal

  • mephisto

  • diablo

  • trag’oul

and imperius after what happend to him,

but i also want to see skarn ( diablos leutenant and belial and azmodan return or even lucion

in the expansion release 2025 deckards soul was captured by one of the prime evils and put into diablos stomach in an emergency surgery to save diablo from deaded

then diablo was animated, but with deckards voice and you can have him as companion to kill the archangel who went rogue

Yes but at this stage Diablo is probably more of a franchise name so may not necessarily have Diablo in it. Although I would expect sooner or later Lord of Terror to show up. :wink:
