i am done playing this game, sad to see that not all builds are balanced, blizz pushes you to take the build that everyone will have ( boring) i am very bored in this diablo. i played druid, earth skills only build is apperently not the way blizz wants you to play druid, so do you have freedom is choice? no, i was never bored in diablo3 but D4 went boring very fast. dont know if i am going to play it anymore as i dont like what they made off it. hardcore people will play but others will fast quit this game, sad to see that activision destroys everything from blizzard by making idiotic things in games , always pvp, why do you all love to kill others? sad world!

same me i test many builds with necro ,druid,barb,but what build what i need is TOTAL unbalanced and at end game unplayable+BORED:( zero fun.Zero fun and only very few builds is playable but u must have specific items.
Blizzards %%%%%% system is one big chaos % here and here and here u have chace % to generate % when i have dmg x and when in paragon i use nodes with +X% i need it and no 50% from 100 is in this game 0,0001 realy stupid bored.This game is unplayable

Totally unbalanced and crash client randomly! PVP zone never need i HATE f…ing open forced pvp! D4 WHY open world game? I kill everyting and others afk ppl’s go easy my loot?! …and lag, GOD!!! Maybe need more 2-3 year patching this 100 Euros garbage.
My other favorit thing, always mana out, need mana, need mana, need essence, need more fury, need f…ing something! 1 hit and full gone all source, why?

Sad thing is…that you not alone…so many already quit playing and with the announced S1 I’m not sure the majority will return at this state.
As Joyoo said…this needs 2-3 year before we have any QoL implemented and can enjoy the possible provided content

Firstly why offending somebody because of his opinion, whether is right or wrong and its not his duty to provide suggestions to professional developers on how to fix a game, are you a child?
Its more like YOU have the iq of a trurnip if thats your way of replying constructively to a disgruntled player who paid a LOT of money for a game which he is leaving and is raising absolutely true and important issues, together with many other players, and the number is increasing exponentially as they get to the point of really being bored with the game.
Secondly, I played 4K hours of D3, As much in PoE, I played extensively D1 and 2, I grew with the franchise and I was absolutely a huge fan and supporter, I helped with all the D3 issues participating in lenghty forum discussion because the potential was there and visible and I think exactly the same as the OP.
They had 8 years and an incredibly successful game to learn from, D3, 11 years and still going, and all they came up with is this shell of an arpg, with unbalanced classes, absolutely appaling loot scaling, forced online gameplay with people roaming the map but absolutely zero social features (LFG, Trade, general chat, class chat etc.) the inventory is pathetic, cant even search it, there are no loadout slots and once you pass 70+ the content on general map is basically one shot and go, including world boss that dies in what, 10 seconds.
Even IF they would fix all this in the next months (and they probably wont)it does NOT justify that they came up with this junk, it feels like devs never played an arpg. I am still playing because I loved the franchise so much and I tried until now (lvl 99) to like it and to be patient with patches etc, but there were several patches and all they did is stupid useless interviews in which they talk about stupid diablo immortal for a long time BEFORE they talk about D4 (of course, its a money sucking machine for teens on mobiles), talking as if D4 is some sort of masterpiece, yet the patches they pushed were pointless changes and nerfs/boosts and didnt even bother adding an inventory tab or balancing the rolls of affixes and aspects to higher level drops. For example. Its not rocket science.
I doubt they will fix it and if they will it will be too late, I wil play the season but if it stays like it is i doubt i will get to 100 with the second character. Rather play PoE, at least it actually gives reasons to play it.

what I can say for sure is that when POE release I will give it a try, and also maybe to LastEpoch, then I will see…
tommorow I will reach levrl 100, just 3-4 more NMs to tun and I already thinking what I will fo after since there is no end-game. yes, end-game shall begin at level 100, as in D3 begun at level 70 paragon 800, but sadly in D4 there is no GreaterRifts to push and no party finder…

Absolutely correct, the game, past level 80, is dead. and the fact that loot drops up to 200 levels below ours and the rolls on aspects and affixes are exactly the same on every item, makes it just frustrating and a chore to play. PoE is a f2p game, with 20 bucks you buy all the inventory slots you need and you have content for a lifetime of fun gameplay, i definitely will go to it when it releases the update to 2, last epoch is very nice also (played early version) and also Starfield is coming. If devs want d4 to survive trough this competition, they have to change everything, the whole dna of the game is corrupt but if they dont see it with our eyes, they will never do it.

This. This is beyond me, in any other profession, this product would go insta to trash. You cant just release this pile of garbage, when there are SO MANY OTHER products around FOR YEARS which could have been used to learn/steal/borrow/build up on/innovate ?! Like releasing a brand new car, but with features from cars build in 1893. It would be excusable if they would have tried something NEW, but they didnt even try and just rebuild something old but in worse, like HOW?!
Even if they see it, they cant at this point. Technical debt is too high, they would need to redo TOO MUCH. The next logical step is they add sets to balance/alter the gameplay for Funnier Higher NM Dungeons experience (like they need -90% dmg when casting hydra, and hydra +1900% dmg to balance their shit, because dmg calc is stupid, def calc stpid and faulty and item stats are just BEYOND stupid, so they create an arcade hero with sets and can use excel to balance this out, cuz somehow they cant use python and/or are bad at modelling or i dont know whats wrong with them tbh) . Other than that, nothing groundbreaking CAN happen. Because like you said, DNA of the game is faulty

very sad, but probably true. It really saddens me because I had incredible expectations and I always was in love with the franchise, I was ready for a 2023 version of D3 and ready to dedicatte 3/4/5K hours to the game, sneaking in it whenever I could, chat in game with my teammates and the public, discussing builds and strategies, blocking silly trolls and laughing, playing together, trade items and help out in forums to make it better and better as we did for d3, we grew with it. instead i get this…very disappointing, but i still try to keep some hope up…, struggling at this point though

Same, and i hoped that for D3 as well. Hoped it would be a newer version of D2 haha. But yeah. I fell for it again, i thought after D:I Disaster and when they said: “more like d2” i was hooked and now punished haha. And that they made it even worse than D3 shocked me. Like they took nearly everything from D3 but made it somehow worse? NM Dungeon vs Grift with leaderboards + teamplay + gems, enchanting D4 vs D3, Gems D3 vs D4, bounties with unique rewards + tree of whispers, wardrobe in D3 vs nothing in D4, like what, omg, even just writing about it makes me speachless… HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE ?

Providing a possible solution is not “doing peoples work for them” it is providing an idea to make things better.
People who frown upon this mindset of coming with solutions as well as problems are the sort of people who, in life will not get very far or will never achieve their full potential.
Are the devs supposed to read minds on what maybe should have been implemented instead of the current state ? Bit of an impossible ask.
Also coming with a rough idea of how to improve something is showing that you care about whatever you want fixing.
I would much rather read a post that offers an idea to help with a problem instead of the usual whiny posts basically saying “game is shit”.
You want the game fixed and how exactly are the devs going to do that when clearly they had different ideas to a lot of other people ? You have to atleast point people in the right direction otherwise they may well just replace one bad idea with another. If you can’t think of possible solutions then ask the community for suggestions.
Also the post makes for a better read if there are ideas for innovation involved rather than just garbage shit-talking posts, people will engage more if there is something to talk about.
Trust me when I say you will go further in your career if you can present a problem along with a possible solution because if you just moan then no-one will take you seriously and write you off as a pure complainer with nothing helpful to add to the discussion.

Just complaining without offering solutions is a sign of a dis-interested person who does the bare minimum at all times. Not someone I would normally give the time of day to if I’m honest.

My time to answer; a gaming forum can be inhabited by kids, teens, young adults , adults and seniors, and this people will be divided in console gamers, casual pc gamers, dedicated gamers and hardcore gamers.
What makes you think these people should solve the game problems themselves? its already a big effort they take a lot of their hard earned money, and give blind trust to a company to provide them with a good product, even a bigger effort to go to a forum, make an account and type out the issues; some will provide detailed info, and maybe some possible solutions (limited by the non existant knowledge they can have of coding and developing a game) some others will just out their problems hoping somebody will read them, others will just complain as you would do if a product you bought and know NOTHING about building, doesnt work. Those are called consumers. YOU however, have no right of judging them. When you buy a fridge and it doesnt work, you go on forums to try help the company in fixing thr issue or you go to complain to the shop and return the garbage?
Some of us (me for example) spent hours and hours of their precious time in D3 and D4 forums and other platforms, explainign and discussing issues present in games and possible solutions, many streamers with millions of followers did the same but to no avail in D4, there are hundreds of posts about what needs to be changed and hundreds of videos ALL asking the same damn thing and you go pick on one player that just had enough?
I suggest you review your stuff and start to think logical: Developers are supposed to know the market, play the games, KNOW what people likes, realise what goes and doesnt and fix it, if WE know it, there is NO excuse for them not knowing it, as a plus they have forums where people gives out their concerns and where they can get ideas PLUS several similar games that they can take hints from, plus a very successful prequel that still runs after 10 years and last but not least 8 (EIGHT) bloody years to develop a product with the backing of multi billion companies, yet NOTHING has been done and little will be done in the future and lets face it, this game is a farce compared to any arpg out there, even free ones.
And you actually trying to blame PAYING CONSUMERS for not giving enough direction and solutions to the devs? I mean, dude, change pusher.

Ye, and explaining everything was done over and over and over again. I dont understand how people even question rage at this stage. Like man, more than 1 month later, nothing changed because it was advertised into seasons. Now season1 wont change anything, with excuses it will change later because time was short and… just no, telling people over and over again that things change, but nothing changes makes people really really mad.

We bought a beta or early acces? Early days… We paid for a (finished) product. So give it or give money. We are not a bank to give free credit, we are not early access supporter, we are not investors…
The door is so big atm, no danger to hit yourself. But you will see for yourself on season1. 2 week into season1 will be a ragefest.

I know games, I know this world, I know arpgs, I know when a game DNA is bad and I feel when theres not much that can be done or that will be done, sometimes I dont want to believe it, like now, but inside I know it, and the fact its already dying and nobody is doing CPR to it its a serious sign. Then you can be as sarcastic as you wish, but the truth stays and it’s out there, you can see it in forums, by streamers, by ytubers, everywhere. I know, its just a stupid game and life goes on, but i grew up with diablo and seeing it fail breaks my heart and I still hope you are right, but I know you arent.

This, very few games have made me come to this conclusion as fast as Diablo 4 did, I’ve tried my best to think of ways Diablo 4 could be fixed but I doubt even if all my suggestions were taken on board that it would be something I could play again, it feels dead before you even look at google analytics showing interest in the game drop off a cliff, 1 month, even Diablo 3 maintained peak interest for a whole year… such a shame.
(Not saying no games have made me feel the same way so fast, if not faster sometimes).

Imagine being a dev there. You get paid for MAKING games, you should KNOW what other games are, what made them good, what makes them bad, how to create FUN, MEANING and ADVENTURES in a game. And yet still, somehow you copy D3 but worse, WHILE D3 was the worse (now after D:I and D4 its not the worse Diablo again). I mean what? HOW ? WHY ? Unbelieveable. Every other profession would go bankrupt with this low quality. What a scammy garbage
