I’m almost reaching lvl 90 with my Druid and maybe this “problem” is more severe since I’m playing Druid that is extremely Gear/Legendary Aspect dependant but even tho probably this don’t hit as hard other classes I think it’s still worth to mention.
Just to give a bit of background to my statement until 23 of June Druid Class had a bug that there was a chance of dropping Unique Items meant for Barbarian they patched it but… Until lvl 80 I had 30% of Uniques as Barb weapons.
I’ve been doing PVP, Helltides and lately mostly Nightmare Dungeons of 45+ and besides unique rings Mothers Embrace and Hunters Zenith dropping once in a while I’m not getting anything else. I’m also lvl 90 and there is Unique Items that or only dropped me once (ex. Tempest Roar dropped at lvl 50) or not even dropped to me once (ex. Vasily’s Prayer, Fist of fate, Storm’s Companion, Temerity, Penitent Greaves) now… I know Uniques are items with low drop chance but if you guys are going for Seasons plans I do think you should rebalance your numbers because reaching lvl 100 and not even having the oportunity to explore different builds and items the class can offer is just a sad way to face Seasons. As I said I understand that some items should be Ultra Rare but need to be possible to get at least 1 by Season to someone that reach lvl 100 and completes the Journey or at least make it soo you can acquire it with some currency. Just my thoughts.
Drop rates are fine. Just stop following builds which you know require super rare items you do not have. Thats asking to get frustrated. Also, seasons shouldn’t be an excuse to “you gotta be able to obtain everything you can from season”. Ye… if you actually spend time playing the game. I’m afraid they are making level 100 too easy to reach already so who knows.
Maybe they will give in and transform this game into Diablo 3 afterall.
Well, you at least found tempest roar, I am lvl 80 and haven’t seen it while I loot 99% crap legendary items. I don’t think I will start the season, at least the first one cause if I haven’t find tempest roar, I won’t start over to only have to grind yet again for hundred of hours for 1 helmet. I personally had enough of D2 grinding for over 20y, they already have 6 super rare items, but tempest isn’t one of the them, but still is super rare.
Keep in mind, tempest roar is an unique, not a legendary. For me it’s almost as rare as grizly rage and tornado seeker. Got 1 tempest, 2 grizzly and 2 tornado seeker in 76 levels.
RNG is very bad here
Yeah I know. I call them all legendary items 
But bro, RNG as usual, hates me. I even thinking to stop playing. I run NM dung for hours every single day for only Tempest roar and still nothing. F sake
