Just redesign it or give a body shape options to look more typical, in current form it’s just bizarre and almost no one would play that.

completely agree the fact of not being able to create a character in our image spoils the immersion, I have been waiting for the druid since the beginning of D3 and the character design clearly makes me not want it, please blizzard change that your druid does this go down on any site!!

It’s Blizzard trying to low-key answer back to their sexual harassment cases with some slides to show in court of how their culture and view of woman have changed. But Morbid Obesity Druid, and anorexic flat chested female necromancer as the standard is not the answer.

a druid is a nature bound character
and both version look like a sumu fighter, not a slim nature bound person
the whole character is designed without any love
weakest class of all 5 at least until 25
what the druid got to less, the necrto got to much…including promoting
necro, overpowered by casting spells and minions
sorc , to much cast power
roque often issues with energy, but feels most rounded
barbarian to weak for such massive char, and little issues with crowds
druid never played a char i already hated by design…but tried to give a fair chance, as it was nice in d2, but…it feels in everything like unloved by blizzard
btw couchcoop is a good proof of unbalanced char
I think having pre-defined body shapes for each class is pretty bad in terms of design. I don’t like the body size of the druid at all because I don’t want to control some fat dude/girl in a game. It’s not appealing to me. If I wanted to see an overweight guy then I just need to look into a mirror…
In my opinion there should be body shape settings (sliders) so people can create the characters the way they want for the respective classes. Not every Necromancer has to look like a drug addict. Not every Barbarian has to look like their injecting steroids every other day. And sorcerers do not all have to look like petite book worms with questionable taste in clothing.
It’s also somewhat hilarious to me that you can only customize the one body part you rarely see anyway due to helmets and the fact that about 75% of the time you will not look at the face of the character as it’s not walking towards you. Also with the viewing distance recognizing anything in that face outside maybe the beard and hair is mostly impossible.
The body size/shape however is on display constantly…

You can’t make any of the other characters in your image either. They all have predefined shapes, so you can be represented across, but not within classes. Necromancer have anorexia, barbarians abuse steroids, rogues are natural fitness bros, sorcs are office workers who go to the gym regularly and druids are office workers who only lift.
Transcend the self insert and roleplay as someone with a permanent parking spot next to the donut shop nearest their office.

Man you zoomers cry over EVERYTHING , ffs you’re the reason gaming is going down the drain because devs to a certain extent listen to this kind of dumb feedback , ever tried D2 ? Your necro looks like your 58 y/o stoner redneck neighbour , one model and deal with it … do you even realize that you have two base models for every class and you can modify them , the mog system works with this model , making you able to make anything you want your toon to look like means items would clip and look like utter trash aaaaand they show up in the cut scenes ??? Imagine devs bending over to your demands so you can larp as a Hispanic dwarf in a wheelchair but he’s a Barb … GO AWAY with this $hit ! Find something concrete to cry about ffs …

Agree. I’m all for body diversity, but this druid just looks dumb running down stairs and climbing sheer rock faces (don’t get me started on the hand-over-hand rope across the chasm).
Please give this character a typical body shape. Or make her large and fit like the barbarian female.

I customized my female druid exactly this way, and hell, it was fitting

but while we’re at it, i’d also like to have other colors for my skeletons, maybe black or brown. I find only white strange, especially in these colorful times.
Even the dull color of skeletons in d2 I like better than in d4. But let me tell you a secret: skeleton skins for $4.99 each. Special skeleton skins $14.99 each.

I really like the all the character design in D4. The silhouette has always been important and makes Diablo feel unique. These aren’t characters that you are supposed to be able to “create”. You get some customisation which is awesome but some decisions are artistic and purposeful. Not everyone will like it but that means the artist did a great job. I personally love all the classes silhouettes, face options and other customisation options like tattoos. They feel really grounded. Like real people. The faces and body types fit the voice they used for the characters also. Blizzard did a great job here.

for Bear Druid it was a perfect match , only for Wolf hmm , nah
I play only woman characters and druid is too much of everything, I rather choose male.
But other chars are not much better, too masculine sorc without pretty face, drug addict necro emo girl is also awful, rogue is also not pretty. What is wrong with femine girls? There is no single pretty girl there.

Big Papa Druid and Big Mama Druid looks awesome in my opinion. My fiance and me had lots of fun playing two druids. If you want to change something, then change the dmg % of the skills because this is the only crime with the druid.
