I think the Druid is pretty well for at least the werewolf side but a few fixes would be nice. A passive perk would be nice that added a second and third dodge charge. The werewolf Druid should be a bit more mobile than the bear when on groups of enemies. Also a better chance for fortify would be nice maybe a node for fortify when you crit since you have a higher crit chance as the werewolf.
For survival there needs to be a fix for survival. It’s good when you have the life steal but when you don’t it’s a bit hard on you. I would suggest almost all werewolf skills have a constant life steal, same with werebear. There are multiple ways to make a tank work in this game that should be emphasized. Either tons of armor and resistance to barely take damage but no life steal, tons of life steal but low resistances and armor, or a slight mix of both. I think the Druid should have a bit of the tons of lifesteal spec or the mix spec and the barbarian is tons of armor and resistances which would make sense in lore sense from the type of classes they are. The hardest part is that we don’t have an actual dedicated heal class in this game at the moment. So the tanks need a good form of life steal and resistances since we can’t rely on a healing class in this.
would be nice for werewolf to have a unique skin, or is that too much to ask?
werewolf mobs are copy paste of the shapeshift and i dont wanna kill my relatives man

Would be better if you can just color the fur the way you want it. I think that would be cool.

Yes… it’s really bad. Please help lol. Like does the guy/lass in charge play his/her games?
I don’t think it’s too bad. In my opinion it just needs the life sustain, a little more defense and resistance, and the werewolf has increased mobility and possibly increased attack speed while the bear focuses more on defense and resistances then it should be able to handle the game better. It’s at least better than necromancer since it needs to be nerfed down in multiple ways. Buffing and adding perk nodes or just form perm buffs is easier than trying to need something down. Adding perk nodes would be bad in my opinion since skill points are limited.
It’s getting them to listen… it’s been 6 years. Wtf did they not let real fans test this game.
You can. If you create a dark haired character the fur will be reflecting that colour. I checked it. Created a grey/white haired druid after and I was basically a polar bear! Stuck with it cause it looked badass when you got blood all over you.

They do but since they made the game they know the ins and outs better than players. They most likely see the ends game with every single legendary in mind at end game than seeing the progress we need to go through as players. Besides they are probably working more and making the game work than playing it. The betas are for the workers and the mass player base to play and catch these things. Remember it’s a beta so it’s not going to be perfect here. It’s a time to catch these things and fix it which the suggestions the players make.
It should be better than it is after 6 years in production… the barbarian is almost unplayable on certain bosses. It’s not a matter of skill it’s a matter of having full legendaries with the correct affixes and attached and skills.
That was last weekend for the fans who preordered but we didn’t have access to Druid and necromancer last weekend. Issue was babarian was hard at the start but after some legends it does get easier so that further proved my point about seeing the end and not seeing the process to get there.

Which should not be the case.
I have fat fingers, i’m not stupid (ish). I’m also used to abuse. But… it’s next level with the barbarian.
Yes! Full legendaries or else barbs suck! Just look at this fight against the butcher, and the items at the end, butcher fight is about 6 minutes in:
“They’re mindless beasts, Milord. No brethren of mine.”

I don’t really feel survival was the issue with Druids. My main issues was the speed of the character. Also I felt that the fortify mechanic was really weirdly designed. You deal more overpower damage when fortified which means that any time you’ll actually take real damage, your damage output vastly suffers.
I think simply adding some movement speed bonuses, and a small passive resource (spirit) regen like the other casters have, would go very far for getting the Druid up in performance.
I had plenty of all of that.
I used the bear filler, maul. It gives 2% fortify on hit.
I took the bear charge and roar, both with the fortify and healing traits respectively.
Then I took the wolf core ability with the dash trait and the wolf howl for healing with the spirit gain.
Then I took the wolves with their fortify trait.
I barely ever had to use a potion after hitting level 20. I would charge in; gain 20% fortify, use roar for another 20% plus a rolling heal and initial damage reduction. Then start whaling on the enemies. My core ability (right click) healed for every mob you hit and you could use it to dash around.
Then the wolves and maul were giving passive fortify which would quickly get me to 100% which would just be a permanent 10% damage reduction.
And the healing from my wolf ability plus howl kept me healthy most of the time.
I didn’t have an issue staying alive. My biggest issue was my damage output. Compared to my buddy’s Necromancer and later Rogue, I hit like a wet noodle.
I would be whaling on something and barely be scratching it then he’d come along and 2 shot it.
Didn’t have any problems once I got geared a bit. Tried many builds and liked werebear the most. Didn’t use health pots at all for long time, always stayed above Healthy. Yesterday facetanked and killed Ashava with bunch of random low lvls who kept dying. My rotation was simple stormstrike + pulverize and all elitepacks got pretty much 1 shotted. Kept full spirit after 1x stormstrike. With 1h weapon hit 5-7k all the time and the best overpowered crit with 2h was +12k. That was before beta ended and was totally overkill for the current content. Gear was from dungeons.
The Druid is rough and I do not think it is because of the mechanics, it is their damage output. Even though the tornado is about useless, just goes anywhere. The Barbarian and the Druid need much dps improvement love. Regardless if they are awesome at end game with all the gear it should not be so painful at the lower levels
Combat is like watching paint dry.

And thats the problem. You wont get that gear on release. At 25 You will already be at act 2 doing other quests. Even in D3 while leveling to 60 You maybe got 3 legos that were replaced very fast. It should NOT be that gear dependant because other classes like necro or sorc arent but druids are.
