Error 300202 - can’t login

This seems to be a widespread problem - lots of posts on the US forums: Cant login error 300202 - Technical Support - Diablo IV Forums (blizzard.com)
Got disconnected mid-dungeon, then taken to a blank character screen. Exiting and restarting put me in a 10m login queue, at the end of which got the 300202 error. Restarting Battlenet then D4 got the same result.
Read on another thread that someone got their account locked because of this due to too many login attempts!
Think will leave D4 until the issues are sorted. Definitely getting buyer’s remorse now, though never had this issue in the Beta.

yeah in beta it was great. now its like every couple of hours ill get kicked, happened during a story quest/dungeons. even during a cutscene like cmon

Same error here as well. Disconnect mid dungeon and can’t login back. 20minutes waiting.

I stood in the queue 4 times only to be told an error 4 times because the servers are overloaded. I paid 80 euros for this? omg

35 mins here. maybe they shutdown their servers for good because of bugs?
I have the same issue in ps4 error 300202… Its third issue in one week. 3 missed days really awesome…

The guy who was responsible for cloud services, seems, has weekend today 
So there is no one, who can restart some pods to fix issue fast…

Same issue.
Few bugs already since i started on launch.
Considering a refund soon, if things go on like this , and keep playing Diablo II Resurrected until this gets cheaper…

Same here. I’m fine to pay and play a game, but growth and success of Diablo IV could easily be predicted in a smart way…

how can you fail so hard after 3 weekends of beta and stress tests?
Same 300202, @Blizzard, i want relax and play, i wait long time for that game. Now i all evening have been stressed because i can’t play! This is not game like WOW to have online problem.

To be fair there is a notice on the Battlenet page that they are ‘investigating reports of login issues’.
This is the problem with the ‘live service’ model - you don’t know what ‘service’ you’re going to get until after you paid your money.
