I purchased the game a long time ago and now i made upgrade and noticed that there were TWO charges for that upgrade …
30 EUR + 1 EUR … that was weird
i checked the original purchase and same … 2 charges … 70 EUR + 1 EUR
Is blizzard illegally charging extra EUR for themselves with each purchase?
These charges are NOT in battlenet account payment history … but they are on my bank account …
so basically instead of paying 100 EUR … it was 102 EUR total
Its not much but if this happens to million of people … its not right to charge extra 1 EUR for the purchase each time.
On my credit card bill, they charged me 69,99 € as I expected (and for each previous online purchage I made via Battle.net app, I had no issue), so I guess the extra euro is probably linked to your bank contract. I have great doubt Blizzard did any kind of illegal extra charge…
The extra sum is more than likely a bank charge. I get something similar when I make purchases from US companies from within the EU. It’s normally a currency conversion fee.
Edit: A company of Blizzards standing would not knowingly overcharge customers $1 on every single transaction. They have annual turnover of some small nations, they don’t need to scam customers lol.
These 1€ charges are test charges before the actual purchase to validate your card information. They are also immediately cancelled, so they will not leave your bank account.
