I’ve been reading through the PTR feedback section and watching CCs talking about all the changes in the game. I have one request/feedback/plea and I am hoping this reaches everyone who feels the same way.
I am begging you don’t turn the game into a slot machine!! PLEASE let us have some certainty at the end of our playtime.
I’ve played D IV since the day it came out. I have thousands of hours in the game now. I’m one of those people who loves putting in the effort if I know there’s something worth it in the end. I absolutely HATE having to rely on luck and chance only because I very rarely have the RNG on my side!
Please don’t make it so that everything we want relies exclusively on luck. Many of us don’t have a whole group of people handing out good gear pieces to us. We don’t get giveaways, we don’t get freebies and we don’t live off of this game like CCs do but we still put in the hours and we try and do our best with what we have.
Let us work for our goodies, yes, no matter how bad the grind is if there’s something REALLY GOOD (meaning - not the 11 random non ancestral useless uniques and 6 non ancestral legendaries that will leave a trail of baleful fragments next to the blacksmith in every town we go to…) in the end it’s absolutely worth the effort. Just give us a chance to have something not entirely based on luck. Let some things stay solid, leave some things we will actually enjoy.
Don’t make us have to endlessly grind for every single piece of equipment. It really makes me feel like I’m wasting my time and killing my enjoyment in the game.
The Devs are doing the same thing as the US admin is doing, creating problems for them to solve then come in and say look at us we solved this problem, praise us!
I mean most of the problems with this and the next season can be seen by anyone with half a brain.
I already decided not to play next season - the unique gear from this season was bad and if they do that with mythics its even worse. I hope they change it back when the next season sucked and everyone complains.
They make it even worse because of the limited stash spaces they offer in the game.
Makes you wonder if they even play their own game or if they understand their target audience (unless they want to get rind of us).
I’m not sure what game you’ve been playing but with the amount of RNG that they have put into every aspect of this game the game is a slot machine and it has been Non-Stop. Including the really bad grinds. They do this on purpose so that you waste thousands of hours in the game as you just put it. This isn’t going to change this is how they’re getting “their playing our game” metrics. Next I’m going to have to tell you careful what you wish for. Blizzard is notorious for making absolutely miserable grinds. Right now this game doesn’t need that. The game needs less RNG, Less problems, real content an actual fun allowed.
