Feedback on the pit ( and what it needs to be better )

The best thing about the Pit, is that it do not have objectives and annoying things going on ( drifting shade, stormbanes wrath ), which in my opinion should be removed from the game entirely.
This is the hardest content in the game, but at the same time the least rewarding content. That is two things i do not see fit together.
You get much much better loot in helltides and NM dungeons. I am not a top player, and do pit around 75.
I barely see any greater affix gear on these levels of it. And also the fact that it drops the lowest amount of gear as well. You do not get gear doing the pit, so the drops in the end should be more, i would say twice as much.

What bothers me the most is the low drop quantity of masterwork materials. Specially Ingolith and Neathiron. One run do not even drop enough to 1-2 upgrades. And when a lot resets happening, it makes it even worse. You should have in mind, that the higher you go, the longer a run will eventually take. And not getting a decent reward on the materials, makes it a slug.
I stop with 8 upgrades since it is a way to slow system.
And that combined with no decent reward on any kind, makes it almost not worth doing.
If i got a pile of gear and double materials on each level from pit level 30 and up, it would be another situation. The amount of materials are really a joke tbh.
This is the first season with the pit, and i am already bored to death with it. ( and that do also have something to do with the reward )
There need to be a balance in the content regarding loot. You do a lot NM dungeons to level up glyphs, and get some decent loot doing that. You level up in helltides the rest of the time. And also get good loot there. The last part you need to do it the pit. And this offer less of all things.
At the point where you reach level 100 you have done so much helltides, that you dream of hellborne enemies while you sleep. But the fact that you still need to do this for gear at level 100 is just too much, that’s where more loot in the pit would be a much better solution.
Hope this is something that will be considered.

drifting shade continues to work my nerves…
then again the pit instead has those cvnt spiders freezing you constantly.
too much cc against the player in this game.

I’d like to see:

  • Remove all targetable environmental stuff such as exploding barrels
  • Tone down spider explosions
  • Floor traps should be much more sticking out - or removed
  • Outlaw Sharpshooter boss still hits a little too hard on top of its mechanics

Overall I don’t feel any difference between the nature of getting oneshot before the previous patch and now.
Telegraphed mechanics need a little more upwinding time.
Some mechanics are telegraphed but have a larger AoE impact when executed (the laser stripes on the ground).

Not sure if it is just random, but I do feel like getting items with GA is much more common in Helltides, compared to Pit.

Good day, I would like to explain to you a situation with Diablo 4 Season 4 that I do not understand.
When upgrading Ancestral Legendary Chest Armor in the Pit at Masterwork 6 / 12, the value of Defensive Skills increased from +1 to +2. Very nice. I play a sorcerer which I really enjoy.
But, with the upgrade of 8 / 12 it was indicated that the Defensive Skills would receive +2.
That turned out not to be true. The value was already +2 and it remained at +2 with the upgrade 8/12. The only thing that changed in the value was the color, from white to blue.
Everything always increases significantly in value at upgrade 8/12, why does the value of Defensive Skills remain the same? This is not right. This is of no use to me. Is this a bug in the game?
If it had been Ice Spike Damage, it would have increased in value tremendously. Now nothing happens. Can you tell me why?
