Feedback - Skill tree

I don’t mind having “preset” archetypes, in the sense that if you start, for example, with the ice basic skill for a sorceress, then you kind of have to continue using ice skills because they synergize together, that’s ok.

What I’m a bit worried about is that, within the “ice preset”, I won’t have much (if any) choices to make when I’m level 50 and have completed the renown system. I feel like, at level 25 + the 3 extra skill points, I already have my build almost complete, so with another 30 something points to earn I feel like I will just have every passive and won’t have to choose between this or that.

So TL:DR, we have too many skill points or too small of a skill tree

Edit: I’ll add something more. Why are you adding legendary powers like “Tornado will seek up to X enemies” or “Whirlwind pulls enemies in”? Why not add these super specific mods to nodes behind the skills so we can really choose how to play?

And just make legendary powers more generic? i.e. “casting a skill for 2 seconds pulls enemies in”

I do agree with you.

The game is a little too dumbed down for non-gamer gamers - Blizzard please give folks the benefit of the doubt, they are smarter than you think! It’s so generic Diablo in nature.

The skill tree does not have to be POE complex but it would be nice if there were many more passive nodes and a bit more depth on the skill modifiers. There is room for a new skill or two.

I realize that Legendary’s are the supposed root of all skill modifiers but the one I saw were mostly sort of bland.

Maybe after you get up in level the small synergies will really add up???

The ultimate skills can be placed at a position, where you need a higher level to unlock it, but which makes it feel worth the patience.
