Having completed the campaign which I really enjoyed I’m finding the game very dull. The level scaling, the towns in every zone, the zones all being very similar, itemization being bland. Nothing about the game outside of the main story quests/cut scenes stands out, it all blends into an overall dull experience.

The disappointment is hard to take considering the hype over the game, sorry to hear another person has found the game lacking 
Statistics say less than half the people who purchased the game are still playing, lets hope it gives Bliz a kick up the bum to produce more content!

You feel that way exactly because the game is Dull without End game + This Season brings nothing besides gems from D3 for rings … and a story quest ppl will dry out after 1-3 days and we will see same stuff we saw at D3 , Sadly blizzard didn’t learn anything or innovate at anything Besides the mounts and new Pvp zones which is great imao besides that everything else is meaningless with 0 reason to rerun it ,i find most ppl who like to Rerun and Relvl and finding it “Fun” or calling it “Content” are to be the casual of the casual gamers that exist while those ppl cry for other getting “Uniques” in a game without LeaderBoards and without any “Skill behind” besides mindlessly Killing mobs over and over again for in the sake of farming faster for getting nothing And this will be exactly around 10-20k players out from all who buyght the game like D3.
Dull game/No Endgame/ No Goals /No innovations /Nothing learnt /Nothing new we haven’t seen/ A mobile diablo game have more endgame content then This one.

I upgraded the character to level 89 and couldn’t bring myself to play it anymore. Incredibly boring. Even Diablo Immortal was much more entertaining.

Same situation here maybe even worse Im not playing diablo 4 at all. Im waiting for season to come and Blizzard to move their ***** and do something about this boring crap. This game is wasted money literally. Sadly every game nawadays from Blizzard is wasted money. Warcraft reforged, WoW Classic and their lies about the token and now D4 10 years of work. When POE2 comes out then D4 could get really empty and im not a fan of POE. I will still be playing D4 but not because I enjoy it. I will play it because I paid for it. Its like you get a slice of pizza looks good to you but after you pay for it and taste it you realize the pizza is bad and you still eat it or maybe half of it and then throw it in the trash is the same thing with D4 I havent deleted this trash from my PC yet because it costed me 89.99$. Im not bragging, crying or something but 89$ means 175$ in my country and the minimum wage is 780$ in most small cities. Im not working for minimum wage but I do respect money and whoever does not is an idiot in my list especially in these times. D4 is no fun it feels like work all this grinding and for what? My conclusion is that the Dev team for D4 is extremlly lazy and this game is made as a cashgrab. Definitely my last game from Blizzard this company does not respect their fanbase.

Ye cant bring statistic (luckily for blizz) but i bet its way more than half the player quitting. All of my 25 friends playing this game (from nolifer to consolero super casuals) all stopped playing. They wont even come back for season 1. So ye.

Game is dead (more likely dying and will die on season 2, because endgame still not fixed, and people give up hope for “EXCITING SUPER DUPER SEASON WHICH ARE MORE FULL THAN D3 AND MOAR ADDED ENDGAME + Dreaming that fixing resistance will change oneshot meta” type of thinking. Some people are really really slow).
Its just D3 all over again. Damage ist busted, balance all over the place, oneshot meta (nm-dungeon 70+) super idiotic. Only way (for blizz, because they cant math) to fix it are sets. Such faulty design, unbelieveable.
Just a bunch of hardcore nerds left playing this garbage, because no other game/interests/hobby. Or still dreaming and searching for fun which just isnt in the game.

I hear Final Fantasy 16 is the best ever and a billion people are still playing after launch. There has been zero drop off.

I’m not sure if season 1 can change this.
It’s still the same boring dungeons. Even if they multiply mobs by 100, we still have to walk an empty dungeon to get to the next stage.
It’s still the same loot. It’s not fun to read walls of text on 30 items after each dungeon. And usually none of it was worth it.
Still the same stats. IMO it isn’t a good idea to have " dmg to slowed", “dmg to chilled”, …, “dmg to crowd controlled” in all variants. “dmg to crowd controlled” would be enough. With twice the bonus vs stunned or frozen enemies.
Things like “dmg to injured” should be a talent instead.
Probably still the same cities. Those spreaded NPC are such a waste of time. Throw them in a circle right next to the town portal and no one will miss anything.
That useless horse. Worst horse in any game I have ever played.
I could go on forever. But most of all: Blizz polished D3 for 10 years. Finally it’s really awesome. Why do they start from scratch in D4?! So many problems in D4 that were already solved in D3.

Oh, thank gods… I’m not the only person who’s wondering if I can get my money back?
It’s taken all the boring bit’s from D3 and copy and pasted them into D4, adding more dull, I gave up wanting to know what NPC’s say at lvl-5. what quests there are, are just grind over there instead of over there… (tbh it reminds me of Tera, only no where near as pretty >_<)
There was a quest to go to an asylum, I was like “Oh, something new?!” it was new… but it was nothing but copy/past from screen to screen… appalling!
It just makes me want to play D3 for the 100th time, cos at least I cared about the characters, the story line was engaging, it actually made me chuckle in places…

And when finally an item can be considered as an upgrade, you need to rebuild the whole outfit. That might be ok for the last finishing touch, but not for every item you get since world tier 4.

I mean it has only been 5 weeks and people are hitting crazy playtime. This is just the warm up.
The entertainment alone is payment enough, seeing your tinfoil fedora in full high beam. So majestic.

Not with that resources, with all the games on the market to study, with the size of the company, with this amount of data from D2, D2R, D3. Man i could keep going for ages. This is just beyond BAD!

Pure copium. The game does NOT doing awesome. Just look at your friendslist and clanmembers man. Or look negative review on youtube, twitchchat, webpages, reddit. Man if you want to improve the game, then PLEASE ACCEPT first that its SHET! You sound like the ignorant devs, that do anything to hide their mistakes instead to adress them, take responsability for them and then FIX THEM. Not that hard… but ye resis still need to wait for season 2 because “it takes long to test things” like they test nothing in this game. NO ENDGAME test, NO PARAGONTEST, no itemstats test, no nothing. Not even tested hellfire drops. Thats a nono. And you still have faith that the game will evolve in something better? With the corrupted stats? With how corrupted dmg is calculated? With the itemization ? Do you understand that they will not rework the core things which are bad? And in order to fix it, you WILL get OP sets? Like reduced dmg by 90% when xy, dmg for ice spells + 1500% and so on?
This game is D3 all over again. But this time i wont fall for the addon or even D5…

Allready done. Still need to get my money worth. And yes im angry, i wont leave here because i got scammed man. You guys got scammed too but dont (want??) to see it. Paying full price + gameshop + battlepass for an unfinished, unpolished and bad product. Beyond me.
And im also nterested in seeing how people can not see the flaws, how they accept the really bare minimum, how they hope in that the game gets good on season X (which it will not, it needs a complete overhaul or lazy sets as described in previous answer) and generally how they still praying season will change anything lol. Its dumb but somehow fascinating how low-IQ brains work. I am so fascinated by the selflying thing and i wonder how long it lasts.
And ofc i help you shills keep you busy on your job. Love all your lvl 60 opinion, having a blast with the 30 tier nightmare dungeons which you did like just 5 of them. Talking about the sheeer amount of content this game has and the amount of content in the seasons, and what not. Really really love storytelling

Besides the campaign alone was worth it, let alone the endgame fun.
Only 80 notes for a 35 to 200 hour campaign. That’s a steal for a AAA game. Consider yourself, spoilt.
