When will you make a normal chance for altars to appear in dungeons? I haven’t encountered ANY in 100+ dungeons on T4! During the time I was looking for altars, I knocked out 2 uber unique items, for a minute these are the rarest things in the game, it turns out that altars are more rare than uber unique items.
Do you use the potion? I found all 4 altars in a couple of hours spamming T4 dungeons with the potion active.
Of course I use a potion, and what’s the point of searching without it, I’m just not the first one who focuses attention on the altars, there’s a full-blown discussion on Reddit, it’s just that Blizzard’s primary problem is to draw another two dozen new sets, than to change and improve game mechanics.
i find 2 altar t3 and i dont use any potion or flask call it

I’m in the same, legend 136 and no matter how many dungeons i do, no altar comes out and i use the potion too.
Paragon 200 and not a single altar here… this and the stupid gem fragment grind to get the new gems was enough for me to quit this season, not worth my time tbh.
What difficulty are you guys playing on? I found all 4 within a matter of hours on T4, im fairly certain that chances increase with each difficulty tier.
About 10 dungeons and only 1 altar here.
I’m done with Torment 4, as the character is pretty much done and roflstomps over everything. I can’t be arsed with the pit, but got to 120 just to get my Legendaries - Not that the little extra does much on the paragon boards. I have my mythic’s for my main character, and now enough to roll a Barbarian (Which I’ll do for the new-year event, coming up)
Guess what I still DON’T have? The other three of four of the findable Witch powers.
I’ve maxed all my others out, but have had to sub in a skill as the one suggested (And need again for the next character) still hasn’t dropped - I’ve only had one alter show up in all my play time, and I’ve been farming the living hell out of dungeons.
At this point, it’s a waste of time me trying to min-max the character, considering I don’t have the “build defining” witch powers best suited for my class - you know, the THING this whole season is about!?!?
Random is one thing, but this is something entirely different.
Eff me - I’ve farmed up eight Mythics now - And STILL have only one of the powers that drop. I’ve got more than past seasons, and yet still don’t have one of the things that this season introduced specifically.
It’s bad enough we don’t have the Witch Doctor for Diablo 4, but I was looking forward to messing around with Piranhado - That’s not going to be the case.
They’re increasing the chance of finding the altars in the upcoming patch today. Guess they found out how frustrating this is
