I wanted to share something that has been bothering me lately in Diablo 4: the lack of significant experience gains in high-level dungeons. It’s been quite frustrating to discover that engaging in challenging content, such as tackling dungeons that are 20 levels above my current level, doesn’t result in a faster leveling experience.

By adjusting the experience gained from high-level dungeons, Diablo 4 could encourage players to explore and take on more challenging content, knowing that they will be rewarded with a faster leveling experience. This change would enhance the sense of progression and provide a more engaging gameplay loop for those who enjoy tackling difficult encounters.
Of course, it’s essential to maintain a balanced approach to ensure that power leveling doesn’t become too easy or trivial. Perhaps a system that scales experience gains based on the level difference between the player and the dungeon could be implemented. This way, the higher the gap, the more significant the experience boost, while still maintaining some degree of challenge and risk.
I believe this adjustment would not only address the frustration many players currently feel when engaging in high-level content but also create a more rewarding experience overall. It would incentivize players to tackle challenging encounters, fostering a sense of progression and mastery that is essential to the Diablo experience.
