Game crashes all the time after 2.0.4 update

Yesterday I saw a banner on the launcher saying that Blizzard is investigating random crashes/game unresponsive, shortly thereafter the banner was removed, however the game is crashing constantly and even now after just launching. Issues occurring from 29 October AND 30th October. Please fix OR at least communicate what is going on as the very most basic step in customer support, thanks.

Same here while playing on PS5 Couch-Coop. Impossible to Play in Coop but Single Player works?!?

They keep closing the crash reports saying “the DSLL server side change fixed it” when it DID NOT. For some it did, for many it didn’t. We have high end PC’s

My game also constantly crashes and its performing awfully

Frequent crashes without blue screen of death or any error codes being reported. Game freezes then simply quits functioning altogether. When the crash is ‘complete’, examining running programs in the task manager finds that the game client is no longer running [not listed in task manager]

Shame on you Blizzard. I was able to play D4 even with i3 processor. After update you put a sh*tt on optimalization so the game was unplayable and forced me to buy new highend PC to be able to play VoH and as a reward game crashes and freezes so often that iti si afwull. And crashes are even when afking with no monsters or players around.

This is unplayable. Every 3 min it just turns off. I have tried updating all the system files, restarting my computer. Reinstalling it and it still crashes.

Same here, game keeps crashing several times within an hour. I dont see myself fit to google some workarounds and root through settings and all. Thats not what I paid for. Unfortunately this isnt news and it saddens me that this is still going on for sooo many ppl!! Forums and social media platforms are full of posts.

Playing on PC. Today I have had consistent crashes over and over. No clear pattern just works fine and then just crash with the window asking to give description. before that update everything was fine.

2 in town, 1 at andariel

The problem is not DLSS. The crashes also happen on AMD graphic cards. You need to turn off any kind of resolution scaling to stop the constant crashes.

Absolute the same for me, random crashes with window asking to give description… every hour or something.

Edit: 2.0.4a did NOT help. On PC
