Hi I have some problem today ı have been taking many game crash in D4 and I checked Sysmon so found that exe and dll in application category .What was problem tech can you help me:)
C:\Windows\System32\dwm.exe
C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ism.dll
Are you using an xbox controller by any chance?

Y3S I used xbox controller newest series.ism.dll is key ı think because I saw another people same dwm.exe crash but with another dll like input.Also I didnt found ism.dll that path C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ism.dll something wrong ı think firstly if key sensetive windows parent or child process name that maybe virus or something but ı know that not posible because ı check all ports with network mapper closed remote connection ports like smb rdp ssh telnet etc. also ı did’nt download anything.Also I checked windows logs like powershell scheulde tasks.
Can you try installing Xbox Accessories from the Microsoft Store and check if there are any firmware updates?

Ill give the shot, u to try disable MPO-DWM.
copy this to notepad and save it as .reg
Disable DWM:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Dwm]
"OverlayTestMode"=dword:00000005
and if u want to Restore Default Value for it:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Dwm]
"OverlayTestMode"=-
This will help not only for Diablo4 but for other games, that u haven’t played yet.
