Yesterday was fine the usual issues of course but now (after the latest update) the game starts, I wait for queue then it looks as though I log in and see where my characters should be and instead I just have the buttons (play up top, start or w/e on the left, and then the difficulty options on the right) with the sound of water in the background I can’t click anything, and the program seems to “hang”. I’ve reinstalled (twice) and restarted my PC and same issue. We’re supposed to get rewards for playing including 2 from getting a character to level 20, and my character is level 19 and I can’t even play to get it to 20 to at least get the rewards…
No error code is given - latest drivers (nvidia game ready drivers for d4 beta) - up to date windows 10
Same thing here after update to latest Diablo IV beta version (0.8.1.39858). After login queue i am in the char selection: none of my chars are shown and the game seems to be frozen. No error code are anything.

Having this exact same issue. Ever since the update this morning.
- Launch game
- Get into queue
- Get through the queue
- Get met with an un interactive screen that displays a list of characters (that is empty, despite me having a character), and some world controls on the right.
This has happened every time I launched the game since the update.
I’ve done scan and repair and I’m still getting this.
Anyone have a fix for this?
Happened to me as well. I was able to get it to resolve by waiting quite a bit at the character select screen, even though it seemed stuck. After several minutes on that screen my characters showed up, I got a disconnected error and then after reloading it worked again.
