game is far too easy. I find it far too easy even at the beginning on the second difficulty level. You can defeat every monster with ease, no matter what equipment you have or what talents you have. My girlfriend who is new to diablo asks me what is the point of the game if you can beat everything with a new character. What are you collecting better equipment for if you don’t need it? She is bored in diablo now. Why can’t the game be challenging at the beginning and then get easier and easier the better you skill and the better equipment you have? That makes sense. Isn’t progress supposed to be motivating?
I don’t want to have fun in the endgame but already in the campaign or on the way to max level. Please make the game more difficult.

Though I personally am hooked and loving this season 4, and returned from a 10 month stoppage, I understand your POV, but oddly, this is How the game is designed:
Difficulty is back-loaded and becomes more difficult the stronger you become.
I very much appreciate the ease and speed to get to T4 and begin “the game”. Being level 50 and clearing a level 70 entrance to T4 dungeon with little difficulty.
I cant sell it to you if you dont like the idea. I have friends who didnt get the concept at all, mindlessly played the campaign with no attention to the story. Complained and had a general dislike for the game but made themselves finish the story, then grind to catch up in T4, before any “point” to the game was discovered.
80% of our regulars hate the fact they have to play a campaign before experiencing the idea of the season.
However, the fans and the haters, we are all together now, min maxing builds and discovering new synergies and learning how to push content.
But yes, incredibly foreign concept, and to many, an unwelcomed concept that you have to invest up to 20 hours in a game to get any idea what the fun factor is to the majority of people.
Its not for everyone the season concept. Luckily you can skip campaign after one grind through it.
However, i myself loved the campaign, paid attention and applauded it. But Im a rare breed who reads text as content lol.
No judgment, and not sure why such a huge time sync required for people who are there for the difficulty and build part of game.
Otherwise, if it doesnt work out, hope you can appreciate the story and see it through and find what fits the bill… Diablo has been this way for over 20 years. And it would be sabotage to the main base if they ever changed it I think.
Game is way too casual now. The XP on game launch was great. Level 100 shouldnt be the norm. POE is doing it much better where the softcap is around lvl 85-90 and then it takes very long.
Getting base gear is way too easy, idk why we went back to welfare season journey items, having 90% of ur BIS aspects during leveling phase. If I’d want welfare gear i’d rather play diablo 3, which to me is still the better game.

what can i say, some absolutelynolifes will never be pleased.
The early game is easy to enable you to “quickly” reach the end game, which is challenging. There’s so much to do in the game now that fully maxing out a character takes a lot of time, and in my opinion, these are good changes. If this bothers you, then maybe this game isn’t for you

Agree, progress and power needs to be earned with playtime and build or there is no motivation if you cheese everything with ease by default

you obviously haven’t tried the pits yet, those Boses are hard. Early game is just so you can level quickly to reach the end game where the hard stuff is. If you actually want a challenge, do pvp, that’s the true test. Once you beat a high tier pit you’re gonna complain again, iv pvp you won’t get that, there’ll always someone stronger and better then you
I have two jobs, go to the gym 5 times a week, and when I have 1 or 2 hours in the evening, I want to have fun and be entertained. But if I don’t even have to think about my build, don’t even have to farm better equipment because everything is so easy anyway, then the few hours I have for computer games are a waste of time. The game is as easy as a kindergarten, who has fun with something like that? Cookie clicker is more difficult
