this game has skip campaign option but then no way of fast leveling , running dungeons and tree of whispers constantly is tedious boring and seems to get you no were in leveling . if skip is option then you should be able to farm xp and levels much quicker , If you have to be online there should be matchmaking so you can get in groups to level quicker im running in veteran level 45 and its been nothing but a grind , there should be a refund button for games as dissappointing as this . what ever blizzard were trying to do they failed bring back d3

i mostly agree
leveling in diablo 3 was much faster and you got to the interesting difficulties and content much quicker
i dread to think how boring a season character (without the benefit of paragon points, lilith statue unlocks and freshness of the game) is going to be
i will create one just so i can get my ultimate edition free tier unlocks, but past that im not bothering grinding anything in it

Leveling slow is fine. The idea should be you invest in a character and take your time to level him. If you want a second char you do this again. But ofcourse you have knowledge so that alone would make it faster.
The problem is this playstyle does not mix well with seasons. I dislike seasons and rather invest in my main characters and build upon them.
Seasons are maybe ok if you can get the end game content in a week playing. Like d3 and poe do.
People will not play seasons in this game. Only the hardcore players. All my friends hate this crap as do i.

Seasons (and games like this) only work well when you level fast enough to continually receive the dopamine shot which effectively drives you to keep playing more and aim for the next level.
As it currently stands, it’s almost at Classic WoW realms of “bad” levelling speed, where the grind to get from one level to another at the Paragon stage is absolutely inane.
Consider the fact that levelling in D3 was so quick, and then when you hit Paragon points, it went back to the original speed for those first levels and you started reaping rewards quick and easily, spurring you on to play more.
As it stands, Seasons will be an utter failure with the current levelling speed and mechanics, and unless they address this quickly, it will kill the game overall.
Can’t believe I am saying this, but am seriously considering packing D4 in and going back to D3, which was at least fun to play and not a tedious grind.
