As the title states the Devs have turned “farming” for items into simple “gatekeeping”
to attempt to complete or compete in end game activities there now always seems to be some pre-condition which via its nature of RNG is pure gatekeeping , its all about the drops and less about the time taken or skill invested to acquire the best items !
in previous Diablo games it was mostly about farming or purely investing time and effort Act 3 Mephi runs or act 5 Baal runs were most popular but the countess or Andriel were farmed too for runes and drops !
come on Devs I find it tediously boring to have to re-run lots of 31+nmds hoping to get a single distilled fear of which there are 9 required to be able to move onto the next lucky chance boss drop!
that’s not what I would consider trying to keep players engaged , also are the ubers still droppable at 85+or purely Duriel now ?
